  7. Okay, now I'm going to have that song in my head all night, Phooey!

Froggy, both sides of my family are from Russia. I'm the only green eyed person, but there are plenty of relatives with blue eyes, my father included. I have red hair, too (but that's artificial ;-))

  8. Eva, do you speak Russian? I tried to teach myself Russian a long time ago by listening to a 78rpm record. It didn't take. Also tried to learn Spanish, French and German. I used to say that you could drop me anywhere, and I could order chicken and water!

Yep..thanks Phooey. I have that darn Purple People Eater song in my head too.

Not to demean "snipes" or "warts," but just what kind of a bird is that? It is a bird, isn't it?

  9. 'Wog, I don't speak Russian beyond a few words. I remember when I was a little girl, my mother wanted to learn and she would watch some program on TV and I'd sit next to her and pretend that I was learning, too. Don't know whatever happened to that, but if we ever get dropped in Russia, 'Wog, after you order chicken and water, I can say please and thank you!
