  3. I love the stories of Masada and the joy of Hanukkah. It fits in with the study of the Apocryphal Books I've been working on. It is interesting to see differences in the Bibles.
I was raised Catholic and left the church for a Southern Baptist church. When Mom was dieing my sister asked for Mom's bible she wanted to read her "that one about green fields" So I handed her Mom's New Catholic Bible and opened it to Psalm 23 which she read ,as she was reading she looked perplexed.I asked what's wrong? she says it doesn't sound right. While she was reading I pulled the KJV version up on my lap top so I read it to her and said is this what you wanted ? she says Yes why are they so different? so there I sat telling the sister, who in the Catholic Church is my God Mother , about the differences and how they came a bout and then she looks at me and said "are you born again like Merrily??( Mer is our oldest sister) I said yes for abut 10 years now. She says how did you learn all this stuff I laughed and said because I wanted to KNOW.
So anyway I love this picture I am going to share it with my study group if that's ok.
