Hi, friends!

  1. A new day, yea! Good morning all. Especially to Phooey.

Froggy, my grandkids are in eastern Washington about an hour south of Spokane. Small town. I'll get to visit soon I just don't know when.

Today I have a few little errands to do then I think I will come home and stay put till Monday. Need some yarn to make those earflap hats that the kids are wearing. Knitting keeps my hands busy.

Am still rejoicing about being taken off Plavix. That is a very expensive drug that I had to pay for then wait for insurance to partway reimburse me. So bye bye to that.

    Will come back later.

  2. Did you have any side effects from the Plavix? (Don't you have to have your blood tested all the time when you're on it?) Are you okay without it?

  3. Good morning friends!

Yay, so glad Phooey checked in! D

Gloria, where is your daughter's home located? We are 2 1/2 hours south of Spokane. Just wondered. :)

Today I'm running around like a chicken with it's head cut off - that is my usual MO for times like this. Unfortunately, my motto seems to be, "if it wasn't for the last minute, nothing would get done". So, daughter and SIL arrive tonight, and son and MIL will be here tomorrow. More family events with the rest of the clan going on until Christmas night, when everything winds down. I love Christmas, but I'll feel better when all the cooking and cleaning are through, and I can relax and join in the fun. :) I'm very thankful for my family, and for all of you here too.

Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas to all you dear pond friends. May God bless you all and bring you good health in the new year.

    Love from Paget.

  4. Hey Paget! I know what you guys mean just a little word from Phooey is good.

My kids are in St John.

Phooey, if you are reading this Merry Christmast to you , Page and the rest of your family.

Froggy, yes Plavix has given me some side effects like easy bleeding and bruising, fatigue, bad reflux and generally feeling like c**p. Plavix is supposed to make the platelets less sticky. He started me on it after the stent. Statin drugs make you have to test for liver enzymes so hopefully that will be the next I can drop. Cardio doc recommended Cholestene which is Red Yeast Rice. I'll keep going and see what my next test looks like. Like I told him I feel encouraged rather than discouraged. Baby steps.
