Wow, we slept in! It's cold here and all we want are our warm beds. 'Woggy's eating tortillas-and-whatever this morning. We're all icy and socked in, but they must've salted the roads--I see traffic moving (we overlook an I-5 on-ramp thingy). She made me cinammon toast, so I'm happy. I made the coffee, so she's happy!
We managed to go out to get supplies today. The snow accumulation has turned to slush. Daughter and SIL lost power last night (eastern WA) and are expecting high winds for the next few days. I do not like the feeling of being trapped at home but at least we had power. We do pretty well but could be better prepared for emergencies. Our driveway is longer than average and our road is steep. We at least do not have concerns about flooding. Our neighbor is a bundle of energy and has plowed most of the neighbors driveways plus the street. What a guy.

ReplyDelete80 degrees yesterday when we arrived in Dallas! When we left the Tri-Cities it was 21! Outrageous! :) Iove the South!
We're at an Advocare convention, so no sightseeing, but the people here
are so friendly. :)
