  2. Good morning Pond People. A blessed day to all.
It was good to read all the back and forth last night.
I really hate mice and rats so the fewer there are the better for me.

  3. Good morning all! I'm with Gloria. Less mice and rats the better.

Froggy, my husband saved a possum baby a couple of years ago. It was ambling down the walkway in our condo complex, all by itself. It was so tiny. The complex has many outdoor cats around, so Joe was afraid the little guy was a goner. He got a box, put it in front of the possum, who walked right into it. Then we called the local possum rescue and they sent someone over. Joe named him Opie while we were waiting. The guy who came over said they had relocated a family of possum's the day before from this complex. He figured this one got left behind! He took little Opie and told us he'd drop him off in the hills where they dropped the others. I keep wondering what happened to him. I hope he found his Mommy.

  4. Hi gang and yes I feel like ****. The bug people and dogs have rescheduled for today without telling us. We just wait all day and then find these notices on the door...

The babies might be cute, Eva, but grown 'possums are nasty, puling, filthy, hissing balls of stink and teeth. They are the most unkempt animal I've ever seen and they'll chew the shit out of your wires and cats. We had one under Ma's mobile home in San Diego and I finally got a hammer and pounded on all the heater grates with it; they don't like the continual noise. We finally had to get a trap from the office to get the li'l bastard. You ever see the teeth on those suckers? They crawl in and out of road kill to eat--they're nasty!

  5. People make fun about us feeding the squirrels saying that they are nothing but rats with fluffy tails. Still like them. Possums on the other hand seem like big rats. Oh well, to each his own.

Froggy and Wog, I came across something on the Comcast homepage this morn. An article about Social Security. It said that you are entitled to representation from the start and that most folks don't seek help until they have been denied. What is ALSUP anyway? Interesting article. Read it to see if it could help me.

I didn't realize how sick everyone had been. Whatever this bug is that is going around it is a bad one. For stomach flu I don't know what to do for vomiting. For the other, my Mom used to give tea. Regular tea like Lipton. She said it has tannic acid that acts as an astringent. Whether that is true or not I don't know. Seemed to work in the past.

Hi Hooly, I miss you. When is your 'procedure? (I can't seem to keep it in my mind. Forgive me.) What kind of weather do you have?

  8. Okay, I'll be a comma. 'Wog is an apostrophe Wog! Phooey is a PhooFrog or PhooBad, Gloria is a Hooly--and we're going to have to figure something out for our Paget, Eva, Hikergal, and Surfie...

    Good Night!
