Good Morning, Pond People!

  1. Hi folks; I sure wish I felt better; this is the longest cold I've ever had... sorry to continually gripe about it. Whatcha doing this weekend?

I love you Phoo! I'll let you know when I can talk on the phone. I miss you.

    Gloria/Paget, when do we vote?

  2. Sure wish you felt better, too, Froggy. Gripe about it all you want. We all told each other about the horrible colds we've had this winter. It's good to hear from you, and you know we all keep you in our prayers.

It's really warm and stormy here. OKC is under a tornado watch. I hate driving to & from work in weather like this.

I usually have dinner on Fridays with old friends from my childhood. The rest of the weekend is pretty much the same all the time: laundry, house cleaning, planning next week's food, grocery shopping, paperwork. Sunday I try to do nothing, but this Sunday I'll probably go to my sister's for the Superbowl game. And my son and I usually have a long phone talk on Sundays. I sure miss my boy!

What's everybody else doing? Get well, Froggy!

  3. We're watching the super Bowl this weekend as well. We've been invited to a couple of parties, but I never get to watch the game that way so I'm staying home. We'll order a pizza and hang out with the furballs. I can't think of anything more fun anyway.

A friend of mine from college lives in Indianapolis. His son works for the Patriots. He's been sending me pictures of all the excitement in downtown Indy this week. They only got to see their son once this week since he's been so busy, but their daughter & SIL and other family members are all flying in to go to the game. How perfect is it to be able to get tickets for a Super Bowl and have it be in your home town? For a football fan, it doesn't get any better. I'm terribly jealous!

Hang in there, Froggie. I really think this is the Monster Cold from Hell. I felt like a zombie for 6 solid weeks.

  4. SuperBowl is on our list too. Love the commercials. Have been hearing a lot about the great entertainment at half-time. Anyway where ever you are watching, it will be best-fun!

We have sunshine in Seattle (sorry..but in Seattle, sunshine is something to brag about!) I also see that they are getting two feet of snow in Denver. They will be forced to stay home and watch the Superbowl.
