Happy Wednesday, friends!

  1. Thank you all for giving me such a wonderful birthday! I'm sitting here eating pop corn with a spoon so I don't get my mouse greasy, still happy as a clam!

I watched the vid you put up at the Klatch, Phoo and, while I don't go over there anymore, I loved it. Thank you so much--and I loved talking to you on the phone! Tell me if your nausea has let up and how you're feeling.

Gloria, how are you doing after your trip, sweetie? How's our Princess Peanut? I miss your posts...

Surfie, you really touched me when you said this was your favorite place to come on the 'Net--how dear of you--it made my day! I finally found what I wanted to send you when the men cleared out our closet to work on our pipes--you'll need to send me your new address.

Paget I'm just drooling over the books--I don't know which one to pick yet--thank you so much! You still need to Fed Ex us Chance... ;-) I promise you, his tummy WILL be kissed!

Eva, how are you hon? Did you smOOch my cats? Whats up for today?

Hikergal, did Bordergal get off on her trip okay? We'll be saying prayers for her everyday!

  2. Good morning and happy DAB (day after birthday) to you Froggy. Sounds like you had many loving good wishes. Princess Pea says hey. She really missed us so it was a good thing that Scott was home. I saw Phooey's video, very cute but how did he do that?

I had a good trip although stressfull driving with Mr Cranky Pants (son.) SIL and daughter have a car that quit running. Other guys have looked at it and couldn't get it fixed. It took Steve 5 mins. Another added bonus is that he tinkered around with another car and figured it out too. Then he went to work on a few other things and fixed more stuff. He had a chance to play with the little kids legos and video games - they adore him. It was good for Steve to see how other people live.

  3. I'm glad you had a good trip, Gloria. Nice to have you back!

'Wogessence, Doc called me in some prescriptions at Walgreens. Since you'll be there anyway, would you be sure and ask for them? Thank you! And he told me to take Delsym for my cough--get some, would you?

  4. I like the whole DAB idea, Gloria. Froggy, happy DAB! As a matter of fact, lets just call this week the Froggy Birthday Week (FBW).

The boys have definitely been kissed square on the top of their soft, furry heads. Today and the last couple of days have been absolutely gorgeous (bright and sunny), but for some reason, Puffin prefers to stay underneath his comforter. Lately, he's been pulling it off the top of the table it's on and going into it on the floor. Every time he comes out and goes to the litterbox or to the kitchen to eat, I put the comforter back on the table. When I go back into the room, it's down on the floor again!

Wednesday is the day I always Skype with my niece and great-nephew, so I'm looking forward to that in about half an hour. He's 20 mos old now (can't believe it) and just got his first haircut.

I'm also looking forward to Joe getting home tonight so we can laugh about Obama. He's so desparate, he's pandering to groups who will already vote for him. Was he really worried that they'd stay home?

    1. Listening to Rush today was encouraging. I came away thinking that we are not out numbered even though it seems we are surrounded by crazy people. Yes, Obama and the Dems are desperate. There is no telling what they will do. There is already talk of moving their convention from N Carolina because of the results of the marriage bill in that state. Now I am going to read the CFP article that Froggy posted, providing it doesn't set my hair on fire.

    2. Gloria, I miss listening to Rush everyday. You are lucky. He is so interesting.

The thing about the "crazy people" is that it doesn't matter how many crazy people there are ...they lie and cheat, and cheat and lie...to be sure they win! What horrid people. Now I feel bad.

  5. 'Wogitude is home--and of course she forgot my prescriptions. Nevermind, tomorrow they'll still be there--and her memory, or lack of it, is legendary. Phoo, are you okay? I love you!

  6. Well I'm home now, and I did go to Walgreens. But, alas, I didn't check the Pond today. Sorry Sis, I didn't get your prescriptions. Am I 'Wog Bad?
