    1. Hi Surfie and Phooey...NCIS is very popular. I like Dance Moms, so I make Froggy watch that one.

  4. Joe Biden, in his remarks in Shanksville, PA, said today is "bittersweet". What on earth can he mean? What's the sweet?

  5. Hi Eva, I saw this Biden gaffe somewhere, so I had to look it up to be sure of the definition. Joe Biden says another stupid comment!

    Bittersweet:
"tasting of or being a mixture of bitterness and sweetness; pleasant but tinged with sadness"

    2. It's so scary that he is a heartbeat away from being the President!

  6. It has only been 11 years and so many seem to have forgotten. Anybody see what happened to our embassy in Egypt? Militants tore down our flag because some film maker made an anti-Islamic documentary. Our State Dept. apologized for the hurt feelings of Muslims. Really.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the Republic for which it stands. One Nation under God. With Liberty and Justice for all.

    1. I also remember hearing one of my favorite songs played over and over back then. "I'm proud to be an American" by Lee Greenwood.
