Good Morning, Friends and Frogs!

  1. Well, I'm glad I didn't have high expecations for my pain clinic visit... The nurse practioner gave me a 4-day supply of some topical anti-inflam (which my insurance won't pay for), told me to go to 2 counseling classes about pain--and to come back in a couple of months...

You all get your Christmas shopping done? What's on the burner today?

  2. Froggy, sorry about your pain visit. Prayers your way. I was just put on another med for my tremors. Hope this one works.

    1. Prayers on the way to you, too, Phooey. Let us know how it works. We loves our Uncle Phoo!

  3. Froggy, you may not have had high expectations but I did. Will this affect your housing application? Hope not.

But let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy.
Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in you.
Surely, LORD, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favor as with a shield.
    Psalm 5:11-12

    2. No, this doesn't impact our housing app., but thank you for thinking of us.

My, that scripture was lovely; you're turning into the real spiritual leader here, hon! ;-)

  4. Hi All.. Froggy, again, is disappointed at the medical care you get in this state. There is no doctor that will give her adequate care for pain.

This will not affect the housing application. So we throw out a few things everyday. I found a floor plan on the Internet so that we can decide where to put things. My school program ended last week, so I have time to get ready to move.

Just listened to President "O-I-Care-About-This-Country" speech. Same o, same o.

  5. Lovely scripture. Extra prayers for Froggy, Wog and Phooey.

Think I'm finally going to have to break out the winter coat. Down to 29 tonight, high in the 30's tomorrow.

Haven't done a single thing for Christmas, except for my son. He will be starting a job, so I'm giving him his great-grandfather's silver money clip. He's old enough and responsible enough now for me to trust him with it!

The only other gifts I need are something for brother and SIL, sister and BIL. Brother is always out of town on Christmas, so no rush there. I just need to get a gift for my sister and her family. Usually send them a gift thingy from Omaha Steaks. And I'm going to a party Christmas Eve. Need a Dirty Santa gift ($25 limit), so I'll probably get some great candles at Pier One.

I'm cooking breakfast to take to everyone at work. Tomorrow night I'll make a breakfast casserole, biscuits and sausage.

And that's all I need to do!

    Surfie Smooches!

  6. Well, Surfie, you made me hungry. How do you put that breakfast casserole together? I'm an 'WOG who loves biscuits and country gravy. But I don't know how to make it. Will try to be a better cook in our new place. Most of the meals I make, no one would eat.

We've been so cold and wet in Seattle. So I understand about the winter coat. I like your temperature: a snappy 29 heats up to a brisk 30 tomorrow.

Just being with family is the best gift you can get and give at Christmas.

'WOG is signing out for the night. See everyone in the gloomy morning. I guess Phooey is the only one with decent weather. We have no sunshine here.
