Happy Tuesday, Ponders!

We'll be in-and-out, today...

  1. Hi, folks! I have a very important appt. with the pain care clinic at Swedish, so I'm preoccupied with that. Tons of paperwork to fill out. I'm not expecting a whole lot, but I need the appt. for documentation etc.

What's on the burner for you all? Seems we'll be a little thin at the Pond until after Christmas. I hope everyone traveling has a safe trip! God be with you all--and eat pie!

  4. Wishing you the best too, Froggy. You all are busy froggies these days!

Hi, Phooey! NCIS! A few times a week they have reruns going when I get home from work. I get to drool over Mark Harmon a lot!

I am very tired but happy. Think I told you I worked nearly 60 hours last week. Today was 6:30 am - 5:30 pm. Same tomorrow. But I got a TOTALLY unexpected and VERY generous Christmas bonus today. YAY!!! We're all working ourselves silly at work, but everybody brings food and lots of our vendors bring food. It's a very fun place these days, even if we all are bone tired.

Today was T-shirt weather. Forecast is that snow will begin Christmas day and continue on for a day or two. They say we're gonna get 14" or more. I haven't seen more than flurries of snow since moving to SoCal in the 80's, so I'm actually looking forward to it. I have plenty of food, my best friend Karen lives about 6 blocks from me so I can get to her house, and if the roads are passable, our Production Manager can pick me up in his big SUV and ferry me to work.

SPEAKING OF KAREN: I know you have kept her in your prayers. She had her last brain radiation treatment today. It's taken a lot out of her, but she is so happy it's over. They have a ritual at the doc's office where you ring this big, brass bell after your last treatment to celebrate getting through it. She gets a month off to regain her strength and then they go after the tumor on her chest. Please keep Karen in your prayers.

    Love to my deer Ponders!

  5. Hi Phooey...we knew you would like the froggy picture . Froggy pics really are cute, just my Sis. Don't think the new doctor helped much. No doctor in this state will really give her the help that she needs.

Hi Surfie, you must be plumb tuckered out. If you have a job that you like, it's easy to put in the extra hours. It sounds like you have a very special place to work.

    ENJOY NCIS!
Karen lives near you? That's wonderful for both of you. I love the idea of ringing a bell after your last treatment. What a really special day to be celebrated! Please send Karen Christmas Greetings from the Pond.

  6. Gosh my post looks odd. I'd swear that I tacked my NCIS comment at the end of the post. Have I been "pondered" (punked)?
