  1. We were so excited to even think of moving that it was back to Vito's last night to discuss plans and eat Italian. 'Woggy had her scallops!

  2. Scallops? Love love love scallops! Were they grilled? Sauteed with some yummy sauce? Details, please. One thing I miss about SoCal is fresh seafood. Froggy, what did you have to eat?

Sounds like you sisters are having a good bit of good going on! Makes my heart sing!

    Surfie Smooches!

    1. Slap that BlogDog! LOL! Gloria, we're kind of gray today, but the sun is starting to show. 'Woggy went to get cat food...

Surfie, I had cannelloni and garlic bread ;-) And yes, her scallops were huge, tender, grilled with some italian sauced spinach and tomatoes--it was delish. Scallops are too rich tasting for me to eat--I prefer shrimp--but she loves them (and I threw some of the spinach over my cannelloni; we always share).

Smooches to Uncle Phoo, I hope you're feeling better ;-)

      Chag Sameach to Eva!

And God bless Paget and her new grandson & Co!

    2. Thank you for Hanukkah wishes and back to you as well. Good thing neither one of us keeps kosher. Can you imagine life without shellfish? I can't!

    3. Eva--and can we talk about ham, bacon, and pork chops too? No, I'm not going to do kosher; it's enough for 'Woggie and I to find glass plates to eat on around here--we can't fool with the food!

  5. I was reading DRUDGE, aways do... and everyday I think 'what an ugly world Obama has made us'. I hope you ALL go out for dinner and try and keep the beautiful things in your life ;-)

  6. I wonder if Paget will be going to visit her new grandson this weekend.

Speaking of Drudge.....I have seen this several places. Evidently the President is having a private swearing in. It is in the works. This is so wrong in so many ways. His last swearing in (the second one) was supposed to be a do over. This time there will be no public swearing in. Does he not want to swear to uphold the Constitution? I am really mad that this is not getting more coverage. Has any other President done this? He gets away with things and no one challenges him. I am still on the wait list at the library to read "The Oath."

  7. I'm glad you mentioned Drudge, Froggy. I was just thinking the same thing as I was reading over all the headlines (including the one you're talking about, Gloria). I felt so down about everything. This morning Joe was saying how odd it is to recognize that our country is falling to bits right in front of us and we just let it happen. I said what should we do. Impeachment? It will never happen. We had our chance with the last election and it didn't work. A majority voted for this. It may be that they don't even know what they've done... but they did it just the same.

My great nephew, Paget's new grandchild, may grow up to live in a cradle to grave society. They won't even know what it was like to be able to achieve whatever heights they wanted, be able to make their own decisions and live with the consequences.

Okay, now I'm making myself too depressed. Sorry! I'll be back with something cheerier (I hope)

    1. They will have to find their own George Washington to bring it back, Eva--I'm convinced of this.

Gloria, there is something illegal about Obama's name and he has to sign his inaugural documents in private. I'm convinced of this, too. That's why the do-over the first time.

  8. I'm about to put the Hatikva on and blast it outside with my speakers. I hope to irritate as many as possible ;-) 'Woggy just bought me some GORGEOUS blue candles for sundown!
