  1. Howdy Rowdies! Wolfie is in his box picking up fistfulls of sand and bombing the kitchen with it! Gad--he's Barry Bonds or somebody!

Ooh, Eva--we have Chanukah coming up quick!

'Woggy's little check finally came for an end-of-the-year payment of something or other. Finally! We were able to go out to dinner last night across the street at a real Italian restaurant! Our Thanksgiving was small (which was fine), so we made up for it--wow. 'Woggy had fillet mignon and I had a half order of shrimp and garlic bread--yum!

The Brat will finally get to go to the vet and we're going to have our teeth cleaned at 'Wogette's school. Whew! We are blessed--seriously.

Hey, you know I got a summons for jury duty. I thought about telling them I was a conservative to get out of it--but I thought I'd better not be too wise-ass with 'em HA! Actually, I wrote a letter detailing my medical issues--and I'll get a note from my doctor on Monday. We really had a laugh over it; I knew an election with that b****** in it would only bring us bad--now the county's got my name!

Lalalalalaa lalalalalllalaaa I think I'll rest today; doc upped my meds and I'm worn out. Where's our PAGET??? You are missed. Gloria, are you okay? Who's watching football tomorrow night? Payton's going up against their rival Oakland... Lalalalllaaa ;-)

  2. Froggy, I'm so thrilled to hear that you & 'Wog went out to eat!! I keep thinking you must be getting seriously stir-crazy. You only went out if it was to the doctor and that doesn't count as a real outing.

Of course, you should be excused from jury duty, but I can't help but think if you got on a jury, you'd be chosen the leader and you'd focus the others. The last time I got called, I was excused by the prosecution. I was sure it would be by the defense, if I got excused at all. I was glad to go, though. The minute I walked into the room, I looked at the Judge and it was Lance Ito, the O.J. judge! I knew before anything was said that this was going to be a murder trial and it wouldn't be a short stint.

I finally got my Hanukkah cards done and I'm mailing them today. Next, I start the Christmas cards. Joe does the lion's share of those.

I can't believe how fast time is moving! We leave for New Jersey/New York/Georgia on the 18th! I'm meeting with the pet sitter Saturday to go over the boys' stuff. I can't believe it has almost been a year (the 16th) since Boomer died.

Well, time to get going. And time to kick Puffin out of the bed so I can make it!

    1. Thank you so much for the compliments, hon--I'd never really thought of myself as a leader--just a Frogger ;-)

Has it been a year since we lost Boomer? Oh, my--isn't it hard to lose the little devils? Breezeway (Wolfie has a lot of nicknames...) is on 'Woggy's bed behind me. She has to make her bed before she leaves or else she'd be sleeping with fur sheets (his fur is nearly 4" long!)

Yes, dinner is was lovely--they played Billie Holliday, Nat King Cole etc. music that we love. 'Woggy had such a good time and that made me so happy; she deserves fillet mignon EVERY day!

      Where's our Phooster? Gloria?

    2. It was a most lovely surprise to go out for dinner. And older tunes that you hum along to, and try to guess who sang that, what show was that from? We had to look up some of the songs when we got home and play them again. Thank you Froggy for your kind and thoughtful heart. You are the BEST sister!

  3. Eva, how wonderful to hear from you. You have so much news. Yes, we do both Hanukkah and Christmas cards. Froggy set up her Menorrah, and I will bring home candles this weekend. So we are almost ready. Well, not quite. Wolfie needs some gifts...probably a bag of mice. I know you miss your sweet Boomer. We miss all of our babies (4) and one dog. We put out a decoration of each of them. It helps to have our Wolfie. He is so crazy when he's around catnip.

Judge Ito..I remember him very well. Who could forget that trial? I was picked once for a jury, but when the trial started, the attorneys agreed on something, and it was over.

Enjoy your trip. Sounds wonderful...so many places.

  4. Lost my post again. grrrr

Froggy, You have no idea how happy it makes me that you and Wog were able to go out for dinner. Out. Not just for an appt. Yea for you.

I have been called for jury duty a bunch. Was able to get out of it the last two times. Around here when you serve your name is put back into the pool so you can get called again.

You know the part where they tell the jury that this poor unfortunate being is entitled to a jury of his peers? I would love to stand up and say "There is no way in hell that I consider myself to be a peer of that degenerate who I have already decided is guilty." I would be in trouble but Oh, the drama! hehe!
