  1. Hi Ponders. Happy Wednesday.

I am getting ready to go back to my daughters house tomorrow morn. It is Spring Break (formerly known as Easter Vacation) and it is Luke's birthday April 8. SIL is deep in tax season. Val wants me to go as a extra adult to stay a few nights in Spokane. Leaving in the morn as early as I can get ready. staying 2 nights then coming home.

Also I will be posting an interesting email I received from Burpee Gardens. Burpee Seed Co. has been in business over 100 years. Tell me what you think.

    1. Sorry, I tried to copy and paste the text but it didn't work for me.

    2. Good Morning Gloria, Enjoy your visit with family. We'll miss you while you are gone.

I'm curious about the Burpee email. Can you copy and past post a link? Or give us a line so I can google it.

I have been checking your ebay listings. Everytime I go to calliope the listing is bigger. Guess you got the hang of it. It's an inspiration to me to give it another try. I used to sell used stuffed animals.

    3. Wog I will forward the email to Froggy.

Val has been helping me with listings to get my total numbers up. Last week she found a Betsy Johnson purse with tags. She paid $5 and sold it for $70. On calliope there are all sorts of things that I would not even bother with but she seems to pick good stuff. My area of interest is household.

    4. Have a safe trip. Congrats on the eBay sales. Keep learning from Val. I told you about the purse I bought at a thrift store for about $1.25 and sold for about $500. There was just something about that little thing. Turned out to be Bakelite.

  2. Well, I'll be interested to hear about it (the email) when you can get it on.

How great that you're seeing so much of the grands! I know you hate the drive, but at least you don't have to get on a plane to see family. I'm waiting for the day that I'll be on the east coast with everyone. Surfie loves being back near her family and I want to be back near mine, too. I hope we can do it this summer.

    Happy Wednesday, deer Ponders!

    1. Good Morning Eva, Froggy, Wolfie and I were up earlier, but went back to bed. I'm the first one up on this second try. I really want to read that email from Burpee too.

  3. Gloria, try emailing the Burpee thing to Froggy or Woggy. Yesterday, my lab(85lb) pulled me off of a two-step platform and landed on concrete. Lesson learned.... be more careful at my age. I could have broken a hip, instead I'm only sore today. Lesson two..... don't eat raw asparagus to excess. Love all!

    1. Oh thank goodness you didn't break anything! That's bad at any age. Years ago, I fell off a bicycle onto concrete. I didn't break anything either, but I traumatized the entire left side of my body (my description). It took me 6 weeks to be able to move again without pain. I couldn't believe how stiff and sore I was when I didn't actually break anything. My sympathies, Phooey, the soreness can be just as painful as doing something worse!

    2. Good grief, Phooey! Glad you're OK. Sometimes it shocks me when I realize I'm holding the handrail when going up or down stairs because I'm afraid of falling. In my heart, I'm still that young'un bounding up and down stairs.
