  1. Good Morning Ponders,
It's Friday! Guess what's next. The weekend is next, but it gets better. It's a football weekend. Denver Broncos playing in Seattle.

I'm starting the day by talking with someone at the AARP Foundation about a job. They put you to work 18 hours a week while you look for a job. Then around noon it's off on the bus to see Froggy.

  3. Good morning. Wog, everyone should have a sister like you. You are amazing the way you look out for Froggy. I should try more to be a sister like you.

Will continue to wrap both of you in prayers. Froggy for healing and Wog for the grace to endure. I am believing for sucess with the AARP job thing.

Please give love and hugs to our Froggy for me.

  4. Good afternoon,

Wog, AARP would be smart to hire you! I'm sure you'd brighten up their office!

I've been thinking about deer Froggy, and hope she feels the love and prayers we're sending her way! Also praying for your strength and endurance, deer Wog. You have to be the sister of the year!

    Love to all from Paget

  5. Amen to what everyone else has already said.

Back in the day, Steve Largent was the Seattle Seahawks' quarterback. I went to high school with him and his wife, Terry. He was captain of the football team and she was head cheerleader. In our senior year, they were homecoming king and queen. They were the only 2 people in the "popular crowd" I remember that treated we peons with respect. Little Okie tidbit!

Wog, how long will Froggy be in rehab? I want to send her a little something but don't know if I should send it there or to home.

    TGIF!!!!!!!!

  6. I am continuing to lift up our Froggy and pray for her healing but I have another prayer request. Please pray for the situation with my daughter. She is house sitting about 4 miles from where I live. The car she drove here is having mechanical problems. All 8 kids are here too. Husband called her today and said he won't be coming. My heart is aching for her. Husband is a CPA and sometimes it just seems like it is feast or famine. I believe depression is an issue. He seems to have no hope.

I could really use some backup prayers from my Pond friends for this situation. One word from God can change everything. There is more but i think I have shared enough for now.

    1. You know, Gloria, you gave us the explanation for everything.
"One word from God can change everything."
It would make a wonderful t-shirt or a beautiful greeting card, or an inspirational book of poems from the heart.

We send our love, our prayers and our support. Please let us know any more news.

  7. Gloria, Eva, Paget, Surfie, and Phooey...

Froggy seemed more comfortable today. I think the doctors are doing better with pain management today. Yesterday was hurtful to see. She has a very nice lady in the same room. They each have a TV, a wheelchair, and a walker. I brought Froggy a few pillows to make laying in bed more comfortable.

Gloria, don't worry about being a good sister. You are such a nice person, you must be a wonderful sister. Sometimes we just do the best we can. I am only spending time with Froggy because I have the time. I'm not working.

Speaking of work... the AARP job is not working for the AARP. It's kind of a staffing agency for low-income, senior people. It's like temporary work until you find a real job. So it's keeps you "in the job loop." And gives you a tiny income to help out.

But the world is full of surprises. I received an email from a staffing agency that saw my resume posted online somewhere. They have a job that actually sounds fun, like Surfie's job is fun. Accounting and helping out here and there. It would only be 4-5 hours a day, with some flexibility between the hours of 6am til 3pm. Perfect! Will let you know when I hear more next week.

FOOTBALL SATURDAY: San Diego Chargers will be in Seattle. 7pm Seattle time. Channel 13. I'll visit with Froggy, but leave early enough to see the game at home. I don't want to stand at bus stops in the dark.

I didn't even have time to look at the news today. Everyone be safe. Be happy.

One last comment. Did you notice that sometimes there are lines that are bolded? I did that with HTML programming. Really easy to do, but blogger won't let you use very many codes.
