  2. I'll feel better as soon as I know you both are back home and back to normal. Okay, I guess that normal part may be awhile, but once we know what the immediate future holds, things will calm down. How is Froggy's pain, 'Wog? Are the nurses monitoring her properly? Are you getting any sleep? Don't forget to take care of yourself or you'll be in the bed next to Froggy as a patient!

What is the price of two sparrows--one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it.

Today we put our beloved Lab 'Katie' to sleep. She was 19yrs old and was starting to suffer beyond care.

Continue your prayers for Froggy and 'Wog.
    I love you all.

    1. Ah Phooey, it's a sad day for you & Page. Even knowing she's out of pain doesn't cure the ache in your hearts or the hole that is left there. Time only. Time and the wonderful 19 years of memories.

    2. My Dear Phooey and Page,
I am so sorry to hear about your beloved Katie. Such a hard thing to do, to let them go. Eva said it better than I...the pain of losing your best friend. Froggy and I send our prayers for your healing.

    3. Phooey, I'm sending love and prayers for you and Page too. I know how it feels to lose a beloved pet. :(

  4. Hi All,
sorry I don't have to post to each of you right now. Pain is still painful, but better. A lot of bruising on leg. Physical therapy people coming by already. Froggy is able, with help, to hang her legs over side of bed. I am writing from home right now, but promised I wouldn't be gone long.

Will try to get back from hospital later this evening.

Froggy sends her Love to our Pond Family and thanks for prayers.

  5. Just checking in to see how Froggy is doing. Any idea how long she'll be in the hospital or how you 2 will manage when you come home? Keeping up the prayers for you both.

Such a sad day for you and Page, Phooey. It's such a hard thing, even when you know it's the right thing. You 2 are also in my heart and prayers.

  6. 'Wog, I hope you can get some help at home for Froggy. Otherwise, I just don't see how she can leave the hospital. Maybe they'll send her to a rehab place for her PT? My sister just with her Medicaid got home therapy help. Of course, that was in Mass. The bruising will go away eventually.

    1. Hi Eva,
The social worker is looking for a rehab place that will take Froggy. I can't care for her at home. She needs physical therapy for 2-4 weeks, before she can come home. Then Maybe someone can come to the house and help out once or twice a week.

    2. Wog, sending love and prayers to you and Froggy. What would help to distract her and help her pass the hours of the day? Sudoku, crossword puzzles? Would love to send her something. Please let me know.

  8. Good morning. I have been gone a lot this week, busy with my daughter and the grands. I keep coming to check in and see about our Froggy. Prayers continue deer ones. Know for sure that our Father in Heaven will never leave you or forsake you.

I saw the post about Phooey and Page loosing their beloved Katie. I am very sad for them.

  9. Dear Phooey and Page,
Froggy and I and our Pond Family send Love, Prayers, and Blessings.

Froggy is still in pain, but trying to work with physical therapy. Right now that just means she can hang her legs over side of bed. They did get her to stand yesterday with the walker (but not walk).

Eva and Gloria and Paget and Surfie and Phooey...
What would we do without you? We have always been friends and taken care of each other since we made The Pond.

    Paget,
Froggy doesn't do crosswords very often. I'm the crossword person. And I love Sudoku. Love you for thinking of us. I just started crying a few minutes ago. A little overwhelmed at the moment. But I'll be okay. And Froggy will be okay.

Just talked with social worker. They found a rehab in Federal Way (south of Seattle). But may be able to get her into place in Shoreline (north of Seattle) which I like much better. Now we wait for a phone call. Love you all. Will be back later when I know more.

    1. Thanks for the update, 'Wog. You know, I forgot that some of the best advice I ever got was to find a place where I could be alone if I felt overwhelmed and just bawl. It has always helped. No one around to watch me lose it. No one to have to explain to. Crying in the shower is great. No one hears and the tears get washed away with all the tension and stress and pain. Go for it, 'Wog! You deserve the release. You've been dealing with an awful lot lately and you've been stronger than strong.

    2. What Eva said. Sometimes a good cry is just what the doctor ordered. You are both going through so much ... you are both very strong and will get through this. Hope you gain a little strength from knowing all of us here on the Pond have our arms wrapped around you.

    3. Dear Wog, that is great advice from Eva and Surfie. I hope you take comfort in knowing you have many people praying for you and Froggy. Good night, and may God bless you both. Love from Paget

  10. Love you all...
No time for update. We are watching TV. They gave her enough medicine to slow up the pain. Not sure what's next. Rehab center?
    Goodnight All...

    1. Morning all. Surfie is right about all of us having our arms wrapped around Froggy and Wog. This situation has put me at a loss for words. I know our Father in Heaven is watching over all of this. I am so sorry for the pain that our Froggy is going through.

Wog, saw your comment about rehab center. Which would be easier for you to get to Federal Way or Shoreline? Perhaps mentioning that to social worker would help.

  11. Good Morning Pond Family,
What a loving Family we have!

Gloria, I would prefer to go to Shoreline, but I don't think they will take her. We may have no choice but to go to Federal Way. I can be thankful that it is not farther than that! We are just now getting up. Hospital people are dropping in to talk with Froggy. I'll check back later with updates.

    Love you All!
