  1. Froggy, I just want to share a quick thought before I dash out the door to work. I think I have shared this before somewhere.
At night when I am trying to sleep I play a CD called "The Lord My Healer." Sid Roth reads scripture (mostly old Testament) in the first track. The second track is read in Hebrew. The music is played by Alyosha Raybinov. It has been said that spoken Hebrew is in itself healing. I don't speak or understand what I am hearing but I find it very comforting. I have been doing this for three years. You can read about Alyosha on his website.
I hope this doesn't make me sound weird. Just wanted to share.

  3. A few months ago, The Frog and I were talking about our illnesses. Prayers multiplied. My biggies were Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis(non-treatable...2-5yrs life expectancy) and Leukemia(treatable). This morning, Dr. informs me that I must NOT have fibrosis due to tests performed two weeks ago and my overall general health. Will you join with me in a "Hallelujah" ! Do I believe in prayer ? Just ask me! Thank you all from the depths of my soul. My entire family is slack-jawed! God bless you all! Be back later...

  4. Phooey, I will not only join you in a "Hallelujah" but also a "Praise God"! This is good news that builds the faith of others. Joy unspeakable.

  5. Oh, Phooey, my Phooey--I'm so happy for you, oh, now I'm crying like a fool. Prayer does work. I used it all those times I was in the hospital last year--7-8 times. Sissy stayed with me as much as she could, but there were days when she just had to go to work and I was terrified to be left alone. I solved it by talking to G*d the whole day off and on--we had sme fine communications--and I got along just fine.

Oh, pHooey, I can't tell you how happy you've made me! Maybe you just had some bronchitis of something... Praise the Lord, my beautiful Jewish G*d1 (Yours, too--G*d is G*d no matter what!

Now I can go to bed happy!

  6. Phooey! OMG, I'm so excited I can barely type. You and your family must be over the moon. Now THAT's the kind of news I want to hear. Hallelujah, indeed!

Froggy, are you listening? We can do it. Our prayers are powerful and we pray for you. Don't give up no matter how tough things seem now.

    Puffin sends kisses!

Gloria, I don't speak or really understand Hebrew either (the prayers are ingrained in me), but the sound also soothes me. In my case, though, I think it's mainly the comfort of memories.

  7. Praise the Lord! Phooey... God is so good, ALL the time :)

I need prayer about my MS, Chronic Epstein-Barr Virus, CLL (leukemia) and PVC's (heart).

Also a habit of almost 70 years I'm trying to break. I'm 99% sure that this habit is very much connected to the 4 health issues I'm fighting... won't go into details, except to say the habit isn't immoral, emotional, social, or financial. It does impact my physical and my spiritual health (every time I slip) big time.
However, I'm sure learning alot about claiming promises and lotsa lotsa lotsa prayer!

Y'all are in my prayers too :)

  8. Gloria--thanks! I love Hebrew--I can sing simple songs in it (tho I'm better in Ladino because I studied 4 years of Spanish in high school.) I'll see if I can give that a try--I think Hebrew is the prettiest language in the world (along with Portuguese)--thanks forthe recommend!

  10. I have been thinking about these scriptures today. His Word is true it never fails.

"The Lord your God in your midst,
    The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing."
    Zephania 3:17

Froggy, when you are at your lowest, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is singing over YOU!

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

I plan to step up my prayers for you.

  11. Thanks Froggy :) Mostly I ignore what is going on, but since fighting with the habit and seeing how it is affecting my health... looking back now I can see that it has always made my health worse. The enemy just does NOT want to let go of me... well, I have news for him/it...
Jesus died for me and His blood cleanses me; His Holy Spirit fills me and His guardian angels surround me. Greater is He that is IN me than he that is in the world.

Thanks, Froggy... you've made me feel better too! Just knowing that I can come here and post when things get bad and the "whispers in my ear" keep telling me that I'm totally lost and Jesus doesn't love me. LIES, ALL LIES!!

And these "feelings of sickness" I DO NOT accept; I reject them; I refuse to let them control me... cuz I know where they are coming from.

Froggy, if you were to see me, you'd never think that all this is going on... it sure doesn't show on the outside... that's why I know "who" is causing this... and it makes me hang onto Jesus all the more!!!

Thanks so much for your prayers... you've got mine too. Isn't it neat that we can have each others backs??!!!!!

I'm so sorry what has happened to you; but now we have our own place to hang out and hold each other up. We can have our own rules here, or none at all... You've done such a great job on this little corner of our world...

...and thanks for being my friend!!
