  2. Good Morning, all! I can't seem to get rid of this nagging cold. My head weighs a ton.

Sounds like a lot of good info came out here yesterday and today is as good a day as any to get hopping on it (get it? hopping? :))

I think part of my problem always stems from thinking about EVERYTHING that needs to get done, rather than dealing with each thing individually. 'Wog is right. One step at a time. The next thing you know, you've gotten a bunch of it taken care of.

In other words, I guess I'm saying "don't think. just do"

And, Froggy, if you want to post Boomer's pics, it's okay with me. I already have him as my screensaver.

One more note about that. Little Puffin has been rubbing and rubbing against the box that Boomer's ashes are in. He practically pushed it off the table! I can't imagine he can smell anything, though. Bambu doesn't have the same reaction.

  3. Eva, excellent thoughts.
Wouldn't you just love to know what cats are thinking and why they do the strange things they do? Maybe Puffin really can smell Boomer and is missing his old friend.
Have a good day and I will come back later.

  4. I think he knows that's his little friend. I know he does. I'll post his pics when I can--they still make ME cry.

  5. Oh My Eva... I wasn't going to say much today, then I read your post about Boomer, and the tears came up.

Our little Boris would sit in front of the sofa for hours, looking under for his sister. So sad. So I started picking him up and carrying him around. And, of course, he got so spoiled... which is good for a kitty! After that I had to hold him like a baby every evening when I got home.

  6. I know Puffin and Bambu must have been so freaked out. First we leave with Boomer and come back without him. Then, a day later, we leave for 2 weeks and they have a pet sitter that isn't the one they have always known. Lord knows what they were thinking! I'm sure they felt abandoned. It was just lousy timing all around. They're doing a lot of talking now and their voices are different. I'm hoping once they realize that we're home to stay, things will return to normal. Fingers crossed.

Hearing about Boris sounds like what we're dealing with. The boys yell so much, but as soon as Joe or I pick them up, they calm down and start purring like crazy. We're both learning to do things with one hand! Bambu hangs on Joe's shoulder like a baby about to be burped. It's a good thing nobody sees us. I'm sure they'd think we've gone around the bend for sure!

Well, I seem to have developed a slight fever now, so I'm off to bed for awhile.
