  1. 'Woggy just got let go from her job--they say she can't keep up (she's 71!) I'm not sure what we're going to do...

  2. Dear Froggy, we're going to be fine. We are always fine. Things have a way of working out. I am looking forward to something new. I never worry about my age. There was a time when I was 17-18 or so with no experience. I got hired. And I'll get hired again!

  3. Oh my G-d! I'm so sorry. When will all of this end? I can't even imagine what the two of you must be going through. I wish I had some ideas. I'm thinking, praying, hoping for a solution to present itself.

  4. Great attitude, 'Wog! Froggy's lucky to have such a sister. She and I tend to get depressed first. You're right, of course. There is always something out there even when you don't know what it is.

  5. I used to say that "you never when you get up in the morning." Meaning what surprises will the day hold.

Froggy was okay for a little while, then slowly lapsed into saddness, and crawled into bed. Sometimes bed is the best place! For me, I will do what I can every day to get another job, but I will also enjoy the time off... and not having to get up early!

  6. You know, all of you just showing up at the Pond will help Froggy. I think that she is the one who needs a little boost. She doesn't believe me when I say that everything will be okay.

Eva, nice to have someone to talk with. I usually show up after everyone has gone to bed.

  7. Oh dear. How can this happen? I feel very sad too. Eva is right, when will this all end? I wish there is something that I could do to help. You know that prayers are here for you both.

When I let go from job I hit a real slump. Basically I have been staying at home for the last 2 months. If the adoption of Peanut had not been set in motion already I would have backed out.

  8. Hi Gloria...everybody needs a Peanut to get them through the hard times. You know, that's what Froggy needs. She needs a little guy that she can pet and squeeze, a little guy to put a smile on her heart.

What's everyone doing up so late? I can't remember where everyone lives. I have two windows open on computer. Writing on Facebook on the other window, and also playing Mahjong

  10. 'Wog, love your attitude and you multitask! Would love to buy you a grilled peanut butter and pickle sandwich!
Froggy, have you applied for disability?
