  2. Good Morning, all! Thanks for the tip, Froggy. It's always good to be forewarned.

'Wog, I had to laugh at your description of the picture on your flat screen yesterday. I remember going through that when we bought our first one which was 19". We weren't able to see anything from a distance, it was so small. I looked throught the booklet that came with the set to understand the buttons on the remote. That's how I found that I could make the picture larger. When we bought our last set for the livingroom, we got a 32". It still needed the picture enlarged to fill the screen so we can see it well enough. The 19" is in the bedroom now.

    1. Eva, tell Joe... he is a wuss! Do you think herding you cats is easy?
      I NEED HELP!!!!!
Good Morning, Dear ladies. Page and I were up until midnight watching the Hallmark movie 'Dinatopia'. Loved it! Just fun stuff! Hey! 'Wog, it was Scifi! (Hint Hint) Love to all.

    2. Should have said 'frogs' instead of 'cats'.

    3. Eva, we are still getting used to the new TV. Do you have the HDMI. They said we would need to buy a special cable. I guess it gives a sharper picture. Might to get that before football starts.

Phooey, just found Dinotopia on our TV guide. Might take a look at it. I love SciFi and outer-space movies. Love scary movies too, but not the new genre of torture. Those are dreadful.

Froggy just found wonderful, old film "Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows" 1968... Rosalind Russell, Hayley Mills, Stella Stevens, and Mary Wickes. Will be back when it's over.

  3. Looks like we will be having a nice warm, 72 deg sunny day. We were able to do a simdgeon of yard work yesterday. I sure would like to have our yard set up to be low maintenance. There is always more work than we can finish.

    1. Living in an apartment has cheated us out of yard work. It's good for the soul to dig in the dirt and pull weeds and watch plants grow ...that is, grow where you want them to grow!

  5. Goodnite Phooey. Maybe those endorphins will be there in the morning.

If anyone else is still around, Froggy and I are both up for a while. I'm doing the homework that I didn't do yesterday. Drop by for a chat anytime.

  6. Phooey, I watched Dinotopia, too! Love dinosaurs... even silly talking ones. I wish I could find a place like that.

I like "Where Angels Go Trouble Follows", but I liked the one before that better, "The Trouble With Angels." It came out in '66.

I don't think I know what the HDMI is.

Gotta go. Joe is ranting about a neighbor who he thinks ignores his cats. By ignore, Joe thinks it's awful that he only pets the cats once when they come up to him. This guy was talking to another neighbor outside and the cat was rubbing up against him. Joe said he pet him once and then ignored him. Joe keeps going to the window staring out. I've got to make him stop.

  7. Hi Eva, guess us West Coast people are the last to go.

Both those Trouble With Angel movies were so fun. Rosalind Russell was a gem. Loved her as Auntie Mame.

HDMI is a special cable that goes from the cable box to the TV. (We have Comcast) It gives a sharper image. But if I never have it, I won't miss it. adio Shack has the cables for about $30. Some Tvs come with a set of cables.

Joe, don't worry about the kitty. Kitty wouldn't rub the man's leg if he didn't trust him. Be careful that Joe doesn't snatch him up and bring him home!

  8. Remember me????????? Do I get a howdy and a cat to rub up against me? I assure you, I wouldn't just pat him once! He'd have to do overnights here--and then 'Woggy and I would fight over him!
