Good Morning, Pond People!

7 comments:

  1. Well, we've pretty much unsogged, so 'Woggity is back on her usual school schedule, and my back feels better. We finally got some good sleep, so we're good to hop! How's all my nice friends doing? Phooey?

I'll try to get something on the board today...

  2. Well, that is a pretty in pink cheery message! I am going to get a blood test this morning then right back for breakfast.

I will check in later. Peanut is keeping herself busy trying to open cabinet doors.

  3. I also going to comment on the pretty pink.

Gloria, our Bambu loves to open cabinet doors. He's good at it, too. Sometimes, when he can't get one open, he'll sit by it and meow until I open it for him. I tell him there isn't anything inside that wasn't there the last time, but he has to check for himself.

Glad to hear your finally unsogged, Froggy and back to normal. What's the weather like? Gonna be hot today in L.A. Like summer.

  4. We have locked several cats in closets. After while it seems kinda quiet, and you start looking. We had one sit in the pantry for about an hour. Didn't say one "meeeoow" or scratch at door or anything. When we opened the door, she was just sitting there, waiting!

I've probably told this before. Froggy and I came home at night. Opened the door. The black dog went out so fast that we didn't see him. Closed the door behind him. Took a couple hours of searching every inch of the house, including the basement. Was real creepy because we knew that he had to be there...but he wasn't! Just like the cat... we finally opened front door, and the little guy was just sitting there, waiting.

  5. Only thing worse the a busted water line is anything to do with sewer lines! Glad yours was water and that you've dried out abit .Glad to hear the back is better to.
Yoda , our brad/pit pup has always played hide and seek with us but he has lately decided he should hide instead of just seeking.Only problem is his idea of hiding is behind a plum sapling or a little pine tree( think table top tree) and not looking at us!I guess he thinks if he can't see us we can't see him LOL!!!
Some one asked about Sweet Baby Kaniah, well she is off on an adventure of a life time!! Easter weekend she waved at all the Seattle area people as she was visiting her aunt and uncle in Seattle. She hunted Easter eggs and skyped with me. We sang oour ABC's her favorite part is ABCD then its baby talk till she gets to SING WITH ME!!! YAY!!!!! Then on Tuesday she and her parents flew to Japan for 3 years!!! Dex goes to sea early May but my nephew is stationed there too so Jeeanna ,his wife, and Katy will get together a lot!!
So there you go a silly doggie story and a Sad/happy Kaniah update.

  7. Hiker, my son will only be out of the country 1-2 years. I can't imagine 3!

Froggy and Wog, so glad you are dried out and feeling better. Hiker is soooo right about how awful it is when the plumbing problem involves sewage. Been there, done that, more than I want to think about!

Nothing new going on around here, except I am going to a Kindergarten play Thursday after work. The granddaughter of my oldest and best friend from here in OKC will be playing the part of a peacock! I've had a blast helping my friend, her daughter and granddaughter design the costume (they have to be home-made). Another blessing of moving back to OKC.

Love you all! I'm off to order graduation announcements, make some dinner, and get ready for work tomorrow.
