  3. Here's today's noise update! Today I got off the bus, and it sound like a machine gun. It was a jackhammer (again echoing off all the apartments) tearing up all the cement patio-area around the swim pool. The pool was re-done a couple years ago. What's next? It's probably about time for management to sand the outside of the buildings ..and repaint.

Apostrophe WOG is about to do homework or fall asleep ..whichever comes first!

Froggy is reading me headlines of interest. The US budget has a whole bunch of zeros 000000000000000000000 or more. How long does it take to pay off a Volt? answer 27 years. HAHAHAHAHA

    1. Hiker, just watch out for the moonshiners in North Wilkesboro!

    2. Hiker, they make you learn a lot of stuff really, really fast. I can do it. There are a couple people in my class that are not going to be accountants.

Phooey, how do you know about moonshiners? I remember something about them when I was a kid, but never saw one.

    3. All the moonshiners I ever met were fine folks. Here is my advice on moonshine Drink what they drink not what they sell and if you buy some make sure it comes from the stock they're drinking from. Now a days it's much cleaner and better tasting, copper tubing is easy to get so the days of radiator coils are long gone.

'Wog I know you can do it, I just believe in encouragement and helping people step out in faith by claiming blessings from God

    3. Eva, aren't you supposed at add a little "medicinal flavoring" to that tea? Actually your recipe does make the throat feel better.

  8. Speaking of sick... I'm trying not to bring whooping cough home from one of my bus rides. We have 640 cases so far this year compared to only 94 last year.

I've been on several bus rides today. I call them "adventures." The waiting is miserable, but the ride is cheap.

  9. Whooping cough? Uh-oh. Hopefully, you don't bring that home! That's a huge increase.

I wonder if I pulled a muscle or strained something while I was coughing all night. I hope tonight is better. I've been peeing alllllll day!

  10. Happy Easter, Pond Friends.. This weekend is a special tradition for both Jews (Passover) and Christians (Easter).

Froggy and I were disappointed. We wanted to watch The Ten Commandements, but they showed it so late (10pm), and I don't see it on TV today. Just couldn't stay up to sit through the three-hour movie.

I am up early today. The home is still quiet, and I can read some of my homeowrk.

    1. The Ten Commandments was on down here at 8pm, but Joe preferred to watch Ben-Hur on dvd. That is one loooooong movie as well.

Still coughing and peeing. Go ahead Phoo, have at it :-)

Happy Easter all you Pond Bunnies!

  12. Eva, does your back hurt? Does the pain zing around to the front--kinda where your appendix is? Yes, coughing can strain your back--mine is, surely. However, with all your sudden having to go to the bathroom, I wonder if you've passed a kidney stone? Being sick can dehydrate you a lot...
