  1. Are you sure? Because I'm not sure what to believe today after all it is national skeptics day or so they say.
Watching the sunrise this foggy morning waiting patiently for my Patriot's to win

  3. Unbelievable games yesterday! I could hardly believe that Broncos/Ravens finish. I was screaming, "No! No!" Both teams played their hearts out.

I was also surprised at the Packers loss to SF last night. For awhile, they traded scores, too.

Two good games today as well. I'm in hog heaven with all of this superb football going on!

'Wog & Froggy, they say moving is one of the most stressful things in one's life. Take it easy and rest often. How's Wolfie dealing?

    1. Wolfie doesn't know yet. He's not stressed at all. I had a big plastic bag waiting to toss in trash. Wolfie walked by and took an interest in it. He tried to bite the bag.

We have tried not to make the move stressful by doing a little bit everyday. But it's getting close to moving-to-a-hotel day. Now I wonder how we'll get everything done. right now we are watching football. Our Seahawks not looking good against Atlanta.

    2. Hi Wog, did you see that touchdown? We just need a bunch more! :) I'm amazed that Wolfie isn't stressed! You must have a mellow kitty! When we are getting ready for a trip or something, Chance hides. I think he knows he will be going to Kitty Kat Hilton soon.

    3. Paget, We don't have any kitty kennels close to downtown. If I were to start a business, I would love to have a kitty-only kennel in downtown Seattle. There is no pet emergency clinic either. Though we do have several vets that I can get to by bus or cab. There will be a vet two blocks from our new apartment.

Don't know why Wolfie hasn't noticed that we are packing. We don't know much about his background. He plays, sleeps and begs for food.

    4. Well shucks, Paget! I didn't answer your question. You bet I watched the whole game. At half time I thought about going to the store. But I said to myself, " 'WOG the minute you leave, they'll win, and you'll miss the whole thing." so I stayed for the whole game. That last quarter was a seat gripper. What fun!!!

  4. Welcome back, Hiker!

    Hello Phooey and Eva!

I bet Froggy and Wog are deep into their move. Good luck ladies!

Gloria, are you watching the Seahawks game? All I can say is, they are known for their come-backs. I sure hope they get it together by the 2nd half!

Surfie, how is Lisa doing? Hope she is feeling better!

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday! :)

  5. Good morning. Lots of excitement on the games. Scott will be watching as always and Steve is watching and partying with friends. I don't keep up on sports. I used to really enjoy baseball but not anymore. I can't seem to settle down and stay focused. (Steve said I have clown cars and circus music in my head - Ha Ha.)

Have a fun day and enjoy the games.

    2. Hiker, funny story. Glad your kittys came back. In Denver I used to track my dog in the snow when he would run off. Scooter must have been surprised when he looked behind him and saw me. I just followed his footprints. Only lost him once when I thought I would never see him again. Took a couple hours of driving up and down streets to spot him near a park.

  7. We watched the Seahawk game. Disappointed that we didn't win, but it was as exciting as football can get! Our rookie quarterback, Russell Wilson, is wonderful. I want to see him play against RG111 when RG111 gets his knees healed... Two rookie quarterbacks.

Ater game, I walked to hotel close by, and made reservations for next week. We'll stay at hotel for four days. Froggy and Wolfie will stay at hotel while I deal with the movers.

I won't have the computer after Monday (Jan 21) afternoon. Will disconnect them, and pack them up for movers. But I can use the computer at the hospital across the street. They have a waiting room with a computer. I'll try to leave The Pond a message before I walk to hotel.

"Teacher Forced to Remove Reagan Quote, Bible Verses"
    By Todd Starnes

A New York public school teacher who advised a school Bible Study club has filed a civil rights lawsuit against her school district after she was forced to remove all religious content from her classroom — including a quote from former President Ronald Reagan.

    (snip)

The eight-page letter informed the teacher that “your rights to free speech and expression are not as broad as if your were simply a private citizen.”

Among the items that had to be removed were a poster with an inspirational Bible verse superimposed over an American flag and inspirational messages she had written on sticky notes kept on her desk, according to court documents obtained by Fox News.

The school district also ordered her to remove a quote from former President Ronald Reagan which read in part — “If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a Nation gone under.”
