It's Saturday at the Pond!

  1. Everything was fine at the doctor's office.

We actually don't have anything scheduled for today, so it's back to unpacking.

Da Wolf was quiet last night, so I slept well. Sissy is on the couch snoring away--Wolfie just went to wake her. I wonder which part he'll chew on...

  2. Must be the weekend. I saw Froggy, and then I didn't see Froggy ...or Wolfie.
I think somebody went back to bed.

What's everyone doing this weekend. At least none of us have to deal with blizzards and three feet of snow.

  3. Hi Froggy and Wog. Putting hand rails on our toilets today for us old people. What are you people going to watch without football?

  4. Hi Phooey, Our new apartment bathroom has a lot of handrails. I feel safer having them in the bathtub. I, personally, think all bathrooms should have a couple of rails.

I am walking the two blocks to the hospital cafeteria to pick up lunch/dinner today. They have pot roast dinner, and pie sounds good too. I must be hungry.

  5. I need handrails for everything. My husband says I'm the only person he knows that can fall down for no reason.

It isn't snow, but yesterday we actually had a hailstorm. It made quite a racket, although the cats didn't notice. They don't like it when there's no sun and burrow deep under the comforter and only come out to eat or go to the litterbox. Anyway, these little white pebbles came bouncing down at quite a clip! I took pictures (from the safety of inside, of course).

I'm bereft without football. Right now we're watching Viva Zapata! on TCM. I haven't seen it in years, but it's a movie I don't have to concentrate on.

  6. Eva, I haven't seen hail for a long time. Once in Denver it hailed and broke all the car windows. Haven't seen Viva Zapata for a long time. I had to look up the cast. Didn't remember Marlon Brando, but I was right about Anthony Quinn.
