  1. Hi Pond Family, Froggy and I just took a walk down the hall. She put a small stuffed Panda in a bamboo plant downstairs. We check on him sometimes. He's still there. Froggy really does sweet things. I'm a lucky Sis!

  2. I love that she did that with the Panda! Little things like that tell you more about someone than any conversation or written bio. I have little animals that cling. I don't know how to describe it, but there used to be (maybe there still are but I've seen't them in awhile) little toys you could buy that when you pinched them, their arms would open. When you let go, the arms/paws/legs would close. I used to put them on rungs of our stair banisters in the old condo where we lived. One of them was a panda. They're packed away in a box somewhere. When the boys were kittens, they used to swat at them, but because of their grip on the stairs, they'd never come off. Drove the cats nuts!

  3. Good Morning Eva, I remember those "pinch" animals. Really cute. Your boys must have been so cute batting at them. Froggy's panda is about four inches tall.

    1. Wog, have you and Froggy met any of your neighbors? When my MIL moved into her apartment she noticed that each resident had a little shelf outside their apartment for decorations. Her neighbor directly across the hall took decorating to a new level, and not only decorated her shelf, but all around her door. I thought it looked okay, but MIL really disapproved, and said that person wasn't anyone she would want to know! Too cluttered for her! Well, since that time she has become acquainted with that lady, and now they are good friends! Just an example of why first impressions aren't always reliable. :)

    2. That's a neat story, Paget. I'd be interested to know, too, if 'Wog & Froggy have met any neighbors yet.

    3. You gals are great! Yes, we've met several people--one lady asked us over and swept us into her little bedsit before we knew it, LOL! Everyone says hello and they do have decorated doors--I'd love to put up a mezuzah, but I can't yet.

The people are really nice here--I can't wait for it to get warmer. We have beautiful summers outside...

  5. So happy to hear you girls are meeting neighbors. The more you walk, the more you'll meet! The Panda was a really lovely thing, Froggy.

A lot of my neighbors and I in my apt. complex decorate or doors and/or patios. And the complex (on Halloween and Christmas) have a decorating contest. Best decoration wins a month free rent.

The cedar pollen around here is extremely high. At work, nearly every person is sneezing and sniffling. It's so bad, I don't even wear mascara on days like this because I'd look like a raccoon about 10 minutes after putting it on.

Me and my box of Kleenex are eating leftovers and watching NCIS.

    1. Surfie, we are buying two boxes of kleenex at a time. Somedays the allergies have been ridiculous.

      You and Phooey enjoy NCIS!
