A bouquet for each of you!

  1. Good morning ponders!

Thanks Froggy and Wog for the beautiful bouquets! :) We plan a trip to Anacortes, WA in April, and we'll be driving by fields of tulips in bloom. If it's not raining, it will be a lovely drive! ;)

    1. Good morning Paget, always love to hear from you. Anacortes sounds like a splendid trip. We've only been as far aa Poulsbo. I need to rent a car and see if I can still drive. Froggy wants to go places.

I haven't seen Froggy this morning. And I just got up...with snuffles. Never had allergies but don't think I'm sick.

Going to check the news and find something interesting to post. Back in a little while.

    2. Hi Wog, sorry you're congested. :( It could be an allergy to something blooming around your building? I always know when I get a tickle in my throat along with sniffles, that it is an allergy.

If you and Froggy take a trip up north, you might want to check out the tulip festival. You can see the fields of tulips from the highway, and they are so beautiful! The festival runs the whole month of April, and you can find more info. on it at www.tulipfestival.org.

I followed the link you posted yesterday about the millionaire and his treasure hunt. What an interesting man! I didn't realize he did this 3 years ago, and his clues are so tough, that no one has found the treasure. At least he has succeeded in his goal to get people outside, away from their TVs!

    3. HI Paget, I guess it's just you and me today. Yes, that treasure article was fascinating. Glad you enjoyed it. Do you know about the Lost Dutchman? I think it's in California someplace. I'll look it up.

    4. Hi Paget--I wonder if that man went and dug up his not-found money again...

I feel so odd today--no sleep last night and, today, I just don't know what to do. I think I miss football.

Paget, do we get a grandbaby update? And how is Chancy?

    5. Hi Froggy,

Kaden will be 3 months old on Tuesday. He's growing fast, and is adorable. Ha-ha, I'm not biased at all. :) Daughter has to go back to work tomorrow, and is not looking forward to leaving him with a babysitter. That's the way it is these days; most of us need two incomes to get by.

Chance is full of vim and vigor. :) He really had me going one night last week. Hubby was on swing shift, and I'm not real comfortable being alone at night. I had everything locked up tight, plus an alarm set. So...I was sound asleep about 11:30, when Kaiser, the dog, went berserk, barking like crazy. His bed is right next to ours, so it scared me, and I woke up, reached for the alarm clock and turned it off. (I'm not sure why I did that, it wasn't even ringing) I soon realized that Chance had been scratching at our bedroom door, and was sticking his paws underneath to get Kaiser's attention. Well, he succeeded in getting Kaiser riled up, as that is usually how Kaiser responds. However, this little game of his had never happened in the middle of the night before. When we had all calmed down (except for Chance; he was proud of himself), it took me forever to get back to sleep. Then I overslept a half hour, as I had turned off my alarm. I was late for work, but thank goodness I have a great boss. :)

    6. Hello again; I meant to ask about Wolfie. Haven't heard much about him lately. Does he approve of his new residence? Hope so!

  2. CONSUMMATE LIAR LIES AGAIN...AND AGAIN:

"President Obama recently stated assertively, "This is the most transparent administration in history, and I can document how that is the case." Obama made the comment without batting an eye or even causing a lightning strike...in fact his comment was uttered with his usual apparent sincerity. Obama, however, was remiss in not tying the added phrase, "the most ethical administration" in history, to the transparency statement as is often his want.

The President did this as his administration simultaneously battled to suppress details of the CIA has secret drone program kill list even if the target is an American citizen. Then, just days later Obama disappeared during a mini vacation in Florida to play golf (some with Tiger Woods) for four days without press access."

    1. Hi Phooey; we've had strange weather. It got up to 63 on Thursday, and had us all excited for a nice weekend. Then it got cold again. Sunny, but cold. Hubby couldn't stand our dirty cars and went out today and washed them anyway.

    2. Hi Paget, it was cold outside today. I was surprised when I went out. Didn't dress quite warm enough. I miss washing the car in the back yard. It's been a couple years since we've had a car. Couldn't afford the rent.

  4. Hi Phooey, we are ready for spring too. It's sunny today, but I took bus to store. Got really cold waiting for bus. I didn't think Florida ever got cold.
