  1. 'Wog spent an awful night coughing. Gloria, how long does this thing hang on? Is there any point to going to the doctor?

Paget, what's your weather like? We have it rainy.
    What's everybody doing today?

    1. It is dreary and rainy here. I am heading to the store for gluten free waffles and rice cakes. Giving up bread is hard. If I stick to gluten free I feel much better. Haven't lost any weight yet but I am staying with it.

    2. Hi Froggy, It's sunny here today and just a little windy. Glad to hear Wog decided to go to the doctor! Froggy, I sure hope you don't catch it!

    3. Gloria,

My daughter is glucose intolerant, and has become an expert at converting normal recipes to gluten free. She gets violently ill if she eats something with gluten, so she is very motivated to watch what she eats. She's been gluten free for about 3 years now and has never been healthier! Good luck to you, I need to push myself to do that too.

  2. This cough hangs on. I let mine hang on and wound up with pneumonia. I'm 58 and it took a month to recover, after seeing a doctor and getting help.

WOG ... go see a doctor. Please. Go.

  4. This bad cough hangs on for 2 weeks before you begin to get better. Wog, you have made a good decision. I don't know how you can tell all by yourself if you have pneumonia or not. You have so much love and prayers coming from your friends.

  5. Wog,

I'm SO glad you're going to the doctor tomorrow! When I first got sick and went in to see the doc, she gave me a prescription and said if I didn't get better in two weeks to get it filled. After 2 weeks of misery, I got it filled and started feeling better! I was sick the whole month of February, but it was livable. You can't mess around with this stuff, as Surfie said, you need to see the doctor.

  6. Hello again, Gee with me if's feast or famine, but today I have another thought to share.

Has anyone been listening to Glenn Beck lately? I sure hope he has good bodyguards, because I think the left will go crazy listening to what he has to say! Tomorrow he is going to make an announcement about the connection to the Boston bombers, and a Saudi National that was at the white house. I have great respect for Glenn, and hope people will listen. He has so many credible people on his show, that I am very curious to see what will be revealed.

I just pray that the truth will come out, whatever it may be.

I hope you all enjoy the rest of this day. I have a whole list of chores that are calling my name. :)

May God bless all you deer pond people.

    1. Paget, I will make a point of listening to Beck tomorrow. I am interested.

Somewhere I read that the money we spend to monitor terrism has been reduced by 45% since Obama.

Saturday while driving I was listening to Monica Crowley. She is very good. I will be trying to find her too.

  7. Thanks Gloria, Paget, Surfie..
I'll be ready to go to Urgent Care tomorrow morning. You know...you don't feel good, so ya just lay in bed. But I have to do something. What we are doing is not working.

  8. GREAT NEWS for us. The water line is busted again. I am so glad that I had 2-3 gal jugs of water put away for emergencies. This is so fun. I can't do anything.

I know. I'll take a nap. That doesn't use any water.
