Wednesday is for Pondering.

  1. Good morning deer Ponders. I'm still half asleep, but I wanted to check in and say I hope everyone has a better day today than yesterday. I hope each subsequent day continues to be better. Where there is life, there is hope.

OTOH, waking up to news that Obama wants to nominate Susan Rice to National Security Adviser makes the day a little tough. Boy, he doesn't think much of us to smack us like that, does he?

    1. Good morning. Ponders are the best. What a fine place to come for comfort, support, prayers or just to blow off steam.

Oh, don't get me started on Susan Rice. She was a big part of a big screw up so protect her and give her a promotion. As President he continually does the most insulting things. Now I hear the President is going to give another speach at the Brandenberg Gate. Americans won't get that information on regular news.

      Love you guys.

    2. Another speech at Brandenburg? Why is he even going to Germany--more busywork.

  2. Hi Eva and Gloria,
    Susan WHO??????????
    National Security Advisor!!!!!!
To the United States of America??????

Surely there's a joke here somewhere.
That's all I have to say about that.

I'm on my way to the bus to find flowers to plant in apartment patio area garden. Froggy wants some snapdragons. On the bus is the key word. Should take several trips to bring everything home. Missing my car!

    1. Good choice ladies. Snapdragons are one of my favorites. I planted onion starts today. Green beans and peppers yesterday. Go out to absorb some of that rare Washington vitamin D.

    2. I see that my post above has a mystery sentence.
"On the bus is the key word."
I don't remember writing it, and I don't know what it means.

    3. I know what you meant. I rode buses in L.A. for years. It takes extra long to get somewhere and you're at their mercy instead of your own schedule. Thank goodness they exist, though, or else you'd be paying for cabs!

  3. Hi, friends! Eva, how's your sister doing? Gloria, are you recovering from your test? Where's Phooster?

'Woggy just came in making all over the cat; they're BFF's!

Hot and sunny out today--hey, I can actually keep the windows open! 'Woggers is looking for her flowers. I'm up and down--doc has changed my dosage of meds and I get tired very very easily, so I guess I'll just Ponder today, ha!

    I hope everyone is well.....

  4. Well our first tropical storm is at our doorstep and should last 24-36 hours. That makes taking the dogs out a real bummer but we desperately need the rain.
Sure glad I have you ladies to hang out with instead of the Obama wenches.
Hi Frog! Hoping you feel better real soon.
WOG, I read and understood what you wrote. Now, I'm worried! should I seek help?
    Love all.

  5. Hi deer Ponders. Phooey, you and Paige stay safe in that storm. After what we've been through here lately, I'm jumpy about big storms. I heard the big one of the 5 tornados we had last Friday was the biggest in recorded history. That sucker was 2.6 miles wide and was on the ground for 16 miles.

Wog, I understood exactly what you meant, too!

Love playing around with pots of plants on my patio. Am eating some of it for dinner tonight. Basil in a chicken dish and baby lettuce I started from seeds

Frog, hope you feel better. How long do you think it will take for your body to adjust to the new meds? Soon, I pray.

I read in a report about tea parties planning a 6/19 rally outside the IRS in D.C. that D.C. police are wanting things that will be hard to provide by the deadline. Without the requests being met, the permit will not be granted. With all scandals in the news, how IN YOUR FACE is this? I don't know how to do a tiny url. Hope the link works.

  6. Hi Surfie,
I tried your link, and it worked perfectly. So much political stuff happens so fast, it's difficult to keep up. Makes you wonder what's next. I do tiny URLs sometimes, but it seems like a lot of work to go get one.

    Enjoy that "garden" dinner.

  7. It took a while and a lot of bus trips, but I got Froggy's snapdragons planted and watered. I think they will love it in their new garden.

Phooey and Page, be safe in the storm. Is your raft blown up and ready? Swim fins? Umbrellas? Dog food?

Oh, I finally figured what I wrote on my earlier post. Whew!
