  1. Good Morning Ponders,
You know that I'm going back to bed. The house got real quiet after I fed the cat.

The news was too delicious to leave alone today. So I will post an article, and quietly slip away for a quick morning re-snooze.

  2. PRISM -"BIG BROTHER" IS ALIVE AND WELL IN THE USA:

'WOG says: Now doesn't this describe our government! By the way, when does our government run the government? Just who is running our government? Below is an article on the spy program, PRISM. I want to know who specifically wrote this program. A hacker? A foreign country? A high school computer project? (Transparency is a joke!) Below is an article about PRISM with Q&A.

    ------------------------------------------------
"We now know that the NSA uses a program code-named PRISM to monitor private Web data. Sounds like "1984." What does it really mean?"

by Ben Dreyfuss and Emily Dreyfuss

You've heard about it, the top-secret surveillance program, code-named PRISM, that reportedly allows the National Security Agency to gain access to customer information held by Microsoft, Yahoo, Apple, Google, Facebook, and other Internet companies. Some people are freaking out; others don't see what the big deal is. It sounds a lot like "1984." But what does it really mean? To get a better understanding of PRISM and what it means to you as a consumer, we put together this FAQ.

    What is PRISM?
It's a covert cybersecurity program started in 2007 by the NSA and the FBI to monitor the Internet data of "foreigners" using major U.S. Web sites. The secret program was first reported by The Washington Post, which received a leaked top-secret document detailing PRISM. It has now been acknowledged by the Obama administration.

    It only monitors foreigners?
It apparently does not "intentionally" target American citizens or people living within America, but in reality it gives our government unparalleled access to our cybercommunications.

    (snip)
What type of data is monitored?
According to "slides and other supporting materials" obtained by The Washington Post: "e-mail, chat, videos, photos, stored data, VoIP, file transfers, video conferencing, notifications of target activity...log-ins, etc., online social networking details" -- so, everything.

  3. Scarier than ever! Obama says, "Trust me". We're really in for it. Glen Beck talked about all of this stuff and people just laughed at him. He was taken off Los Angeles radio.

My morning is off to a lousy start. Workmen all around making a lot of noise. I don't get this company. Why send guys to work at 7am on a weekend? Don't they know people are still asleep?

    1. Hi Eva,
Anything and everything Obama does is scary!

I know what you mean about early morning noise. It's quiet at our new place, but the old place was always noisy...even on weekends when you could sleep in and relax.

  4. Good morning, Froggers! I'm sorry about your noisy morning, Eva. In our old building we had Weedeater Man start up every morning--even in the rain!

Well, Wolfie bit Sis this morning, so he's on our list. Do Puffin, Bambu, Peanut, or Chance ever bite or scratch you, gals?

    I'm watching Body Snatchers...

    1. Puffin & Bambu used to give love bites. They scratch when we play with them sometimes. They never mean to hurt us, though. I can always tell the difference.

  5. Yep, Wolfie's on my list today! He doesn't know the motto: "Don't bite the hand that feeds you." It got me out of bed real fast.

  7. Hi Friends!

Wog, Did you know that cats sometimes show affection by biting? I think Wolfie really loves you! :)

Eva, I have so much respect for Glenn Beck. Did you know he is from Mt. Vernon WA, and they are so liberal in that part of WA state, that most of the people there don't like him at all? That just floors me. It shows me that so many of them just listen to the mainstream media and don't have a clue about the truth. Glenn Beck even has to hire bodyguards for himself and his family, as he has been threatened so many times. Sometimes it does seem like we're living in Ameritopia; and Mark Levin got it right. I'm looking forward to his new book which will be released in August. Don't you know that there would be thousands of people marching on the White House if these scandals came to light under a Republican administration?

Glad Phooey just got rain and not a hurricane!

Gloria, you always make me laugh. :)

Froggy and all; have a good evening. :) Hubby just called and said the meat he is barbequing is done.

Good night and God bless you all. Love from Paget. :)

    1. Hi Paget,
Thanks for the advice on Wolfie. When we first got him, he would bite quite often. But it gradually subsided. He seldom bites anymore.

Sometimes he plays with me. We play chase. He runs and I chase. Then I hide and he looks for me. I dash out from hiding and he skitters away. Very fun time. But sometimes when I turn my back, he chases me and nips at my ankles. So I have to watch that he is not sneaking up on me!

This morning was just a surprise. He wanted breakfast. I pet him a couple times, and then I just hung my hand over side of bed. It was just a toy to chomp! He really is a sweet little guy.
