I really overdid it packing. I pulled/strained/over-extended my right shoulder muscles. Woke up in major pain yesterday and had to drive into Beverly Hills. I figure by tonight my time of feeling sorry for myself will be over. Tomorrow, I'll get back to the boxes.
Steve should be back in L.A. this weekend and I'm looking forward to seeing him. I still haven't called the other realtors. I'm such a wuss. I have this weird phobia of cold calls. (It's why I've never worked a campaign phone bank.) I'm going to have to force myself to make at least one call today. After the first, I'm sure it'll be easier.
Hi Eva, Take care of that shoulder! It's okay to pack slower. You need Steve back. That will cure everything.
I'm the same way about phone calls. Then when I do make the call, it wasn't that bad! I have about five calls that I have put off for two weeks. Will try to do them today.
I chickened out and sent an email. At least it helped me focus my thoughts and I wasn't wasting someone's time by fumbling around what I wanted to say. I have this fantasy that I'll talk to a realtor and he/she will say, "I've already got a buyer who is looking for exactly the type of place you have!" Of course, the buyer will be in a hurry and want to give us whatever price we ask. How's that for day dreaming?

I have been so crabby lately that I hesitate to say much of anything. I have been puttering around outside as much as possible. I read a few news sites and am not watching much news on TV. I just get mad and more crabby. I am better off keeping to myself and spending time praying for people.

Hi Gloria, We wouldn't know you were "outta sorts" if you didn't tell us. And what better place to vent than The Pond! We're here for you. Some days the news is so discouraging that I like to post something fun or interesting.
I'm going downstairs to look at our snapdragons. Will be back later.
Hi Ya'll, I checked on our flowers, came back, and fought for a spot in front of the fan. It's a little toasty this afternoon. Fortunately, it cools off in the evening.
Speaking of venting...people with cats will understand. Maybe Wolfie's food got too warm today and spoiled. Soooo I had a little cleaning up to do. Froggy always laughs and says, "It's your cat. It's your life."
I guess cats don't know the food isn't going to be "right" in their stomachs until they eat it. There have been times when Puffin has thrown up before he has even left the kitchen! I can't figure that out.
Eva, Our big black kitty, a very sweet girl, used to "toss-it" if I left the house. So I know that she did it on purpose. As part of kitty supplies, owner's need a supply of paper towels and a bottle of Resolve. But we love 'em anyway!
I checked news in search of something fun to post, but all I found was "stupid" news. Going to sit it front of fan now. It's finally cooling down.
