This is the start to a good day. I pray everyone here will be blessed in some way today.
My thought/question for the day: Just saw mention of a Romney/Rubio ticket. Could Rubio pass the litmus test for natural born citizen? Just thinking about the what ifs. Republicans should be careful about nominating anyone who couldn't. The Dems would be all over it. It still sticks in my craw that Obama didn't and he was given a pass. Yes, I am a Birther.
Hi Gloria--I know what you mean--I'm troubled by Rubio's credentials, too. Ever since Zero is getting a slide-by on that one, nobody is saying they won't take Rubio to task about it--he's good. What's more worry, too, is that if we insist he's our nominee, we/he'll have to violate the principles of the Constitution upon which the Tea Part stands in order to run. This issue really need to be settled in the courts before the election--it won't be--otherwise, we'll just be made to look foolish and it'll diminish Rubio in the eyes of the voter.
There are definitely a double standard at work here.
This is exactly what has me concerned. The Dems will remain silent until Rubio is the nominee after it is all said and done then the stuff will hit the fan.
