  2. Merry Christmas to all. Peanut says to have a merry little Christmas!!
Looks like this will be a very quiet day for us. Not a lot going on. Just me, hubby Scott and our son Steve.
Cooking a ham with foods that hubby can easily chew. He is still having to be careful, eating mainly soft stuff. Did cookie baking yesterday and filled plates for some folks.
Have already had my first phone call from my BFF Camille.
    Love you all!!

  3. Merry Christmas PhooFrog and Hooly!! The 'Wog and I are just getting up and around after sleeping in. We've read our cards together this morning and opened the lovely gifts Paget sent us--Michael Medved's book and the drink mixes I had forgotten about! I am really looking forward to those as I am relying more and more on natural things after having so many adverse reactions from my meds. She included a beautiful card she made herself that is so pretty!

'Woggy's had half a pan of fudge for breakfast--I just shake my diabetic head at her--and she's washing the celery for my dressing. It's cold and windy/rainy down here, Gloria. I'm glad she doesn't have to go out! How's our Princess Pea? I want to kiss her on her fluffy head.

We want a cat so bad, but we have to wait. We need to clean up this place and I have recently been diagnosed with COPD and am on Spiriva, so stirring up a lot of dust right now is not an option. My kidneys have been healed--I am no longer at stage 3 chronic disease, nor is my heart disabled. I have a bad vein system, so my legs swell and COPD and my diabetes/high HP and that's about all, so I am very grateful as those things are more treatable. My kidney disease and cardiomyopathy is just... gone ;-)

I am praying for you both--I hope your dear hubs heals well and that he gets fed today, Gloria! Thank you for all my dear Pond friends and visitors; you really have kept me going this last hard, hard year. You have overlooked whatever lapses there have been in what I could give you and you have given to me unstintingly--and for that I love you and thank you. I hope I can be as good a friend to you; have a wonderful Christmas--His spirit is in you!

Phooey, kiss Ms. Page for me and wish her a Merry Christmas--let me know how you are!

  4. We are having strong winds today and dark skies. The winds of change are blowing.

We have all certainly had a hard year. Thank you for your prayers. My family don't know how many people pray for them besides me!!

The Old Testament speaks of speaking the blessing. I think the Blessing is talking to the future like a prophecy and that we need to receive the blessing in our heart even though we don't see the evidence of it yet. Eva said to you that the healing will come even though you may experience some set backs but it WILL come. That was a prophetic blessing - a gift. Now we are seeing it happen! Yeah!! We give honor to our Father in Heaven who is the healer of us all.

God bless everyone here in this season whether you celebrate Hanukkah or Christmas.

  5. Yes, Gloria, you are right about God healing me; I am profoundly grateful for it, too. I think, health-wise, 2012 will be a much better year for me and 'Wog--I am looking forward to helping her more. After all she has done for me--is doing for me--that really has been my dearest wish ;-)
