Good Morning, Pond friends! We had a problem with our Monorail...

...I see a lot of improper tail management here.

  1. Froggy, You always start our day with a chuckle or a "good-feeling" pic. Thanks for a wonderful year at the Pond. Thanks for making a place where friends can visit with friends. A friendly, loving place. A place where everyone feels welcome.

Love you Sis! You know that, but maybe sometimes you'd like to hear it.

  2. You're my angel, 'Woggy--and, no, you never need to tell me 'I love you'--I feel it every second of every day! I love you dearly, too! Have a nice day at work!

  3. Froggy and 'Wog,

You two sisters are such sweethearts! I love to hear your comments, and Froggy, thank you so much for starting this blog.

Everyone here is a joy, and I look forward to seeing all the comments everyday! We may be a small community here at the pond, but we care about each other, and you all seem like my cyber family. :)

Eva, looking forward to your posts again once you return home.

Gloria, your posts are great too. I laughed so hard about your husband tucking his pajamas into his socks. I run around home in old over-sized shirts and my comfy old stretch pants. :) I used to watch the show, "what not to wear" until they had an episode where the lady they were trying to help dressed just like me! What?!? So, no fashion maven here either. :)

Phooey, we miss you! Your one-liners have caused me to spew coffee all over my keyboard!

Surfie; haven't heard from you in a long time. We miss you too. Hope you are all settled in your new home. :)

    Hikergal, where are you?

I'm off now to the eye doctor. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

    Love you guys,

    Paget

  4. Good luck at the eye doc, Paget--hope nothing's wrong. I'm almost done with Michael book...;-)

Yes, I'm still picturing Gloria's hubs with his jammies tucked in his socks--can the poor man eat yet?

Yeah, Surfie--you said you be over here all the time hrumpf! And Hikergal, you've just disappeared. PhooBad let us know how you're doing.

Today is Official Nap Day for me!

  5. OH YOU GUYS! You are all an important part of my day. After I revealed that bit about Hubs I had second thoughts. My sense of humor gets a little warped at times. He is eating a little better.

I may have an opportunity to go to St John with a friend who is driving over.

If I want to scan something to add as an attachment to an email where is the best place to save it to?

  6. Froggy,

Thanks, it turns out that one of my new contacts was virtually worthless; they sent me the wrong contact for my left eye. The eye doc was surprised; it looks like the contact co. goofed; just good to know my vision isn't getting worse! ;)

Gloria, I'm not a computer guru, but when I save a scanned document at work, it gives me an option as to where I want it saved. (Scanner at home hasn't worked in a while) When I save a picture at home, it usually goes to my C drive, under Mypictures. Froggy, maybe you can jump in and give Gloria more details. :) Good luck. :)

  7. Heck, I save my junk to AOL saved mail because then THEY have a copy of it even if my computer goes down--otherwise, everything goes into Documents or wherever I can jury-rig it...

  8. Froggy I just sent you a copy of a cute card sent by Sophie. I hope it worked since this computer and printer is not the most up to date. Tell me if it is not legible.

I have been saving stuff to Gmail in Drafts or putting it on a cheezo-cheepo flash drive. That way I don't take up memory.

  9. A lot to comment on here today. Forgive me but I can't remember where anyone lives, and I can't remember the Internet names from the real names... even though Froggy tells me.

Paget, you said it right. That's what makes the Pond special .."We all care about each other."

Can anyone donate an umbrella or invent a special umbrella for a keyboard? Paget will need one to keep the coffee off her keyboard when Phooey comes back.

Speaking of eye doctors.. sometimes I can't see out of my glasses until I realize I'm viewing the world through a thumbprint on the lens!

Gloria, I've lost stuff I wanted to keep from the Internet when my computer died. Now I use thumbdrives a lot. Have some stuff saved on floppy disks, but I needed to buy a special gadget that would read them.
