  1. Now, that's keeping a cool head.

  2. Woggy, about your comment last night...... I am trying to read between the lines. How is Froggy? I am concerned.

We talked about making a birthday list. How about making contact info available (email) for those who are members on this site?

  3. The Wog can't decide on birthday lists. Though I do like the idea.
That's a Froggy thing. I don't know how to run The Pond, or how to post pictures.

Froggy is fine, just feels like napping. She said she might have the stomach flu. But she gets up and eats, and reads some news. I tuck her back in bed, and she's happy.

It has been a little stressful trying to get me enrolled in retraining school, and to think about moving. School has been approved, and will be totally paid for. Moving ..we'll think about another day. We both hate moving.

Gloria, Don't anyone worry. We just take one day at a time. Today is a restful, quiet day at home. I am parked in front of the TV. Will try to find a scary movie or SciFi. Those are my favorite.

Who has seen Hunger Games? I wondered if it is worth the trip to the movie theatre. I don't want to spend the money, so it has to be a special, exciting film.

  4. You have got to see this on YouTube. It's from the 1940s.
Look up Ma & Pa Kettle Math
The way Ma and Pa Kettle do math makes sense when you watch it
    ...even though it's totally wrong!

    I love this one!

  5. Froggy, hope you're doing well today.

Regarding Hunger Games, Ed over at Hot Air has a review up.

WOG, you inspired me to cook a pot roast. I'm cooking a big one right now. Will have a great dinner tonight, with plenty of leftovers to make sandwiches and soup. I can make a lot of meals from a $13 roast and about $7 in veggies and beef stock.

I'm back to cooking, finishing up house cleaning & laundry. Saturday never lasts long enough!

    Love to all Ponders!

  6. Surfie, Your roast sound delicious. Love the leftovers. A roast can make a lot of meals. I wrap leftover roast in hot tortilla with a dash of tabasco, maybe some guacamole, potatoes. I just made myself hungry again.

I'll check HotAir for review of Hunger Games.

  7. I was just looking at the kitty picture with the Haagen Daz hat. If the ice cream melts, we are going to have a maniac on our hands!

  8. Well, Page and I had corned beef and cabbage with boiled potatoes tonight. Yummy, however, the apartment stinks! We can't open up because we're tired and a storm is coming our way.
Good night dear ladies. Ohh, 'WOG, go tickle the other foot for me. Smooch!

  9. Smooch back at ya Phooey.
A homecooked corned beef and cabbage is a treat. I can steam some cabbage and put a nice slice of jack cheese on to melt. But the corned beef...I'd have to buy that. I can tickle the Froggy's feet for you... for all the times mine have been tickled. Payback! Nite Phooey and Ms Page.

  10. Here I amm. I think the stomach flu took moe out of me than I thought... I'm eating popsicles... How is everyone? Gloria, that's a good idea--we do need a contact list here. My goodness, I must have slept all day!

  11. I think something happened to my post this morning. It's gone. Hmmm. At least I think I posted this morning. Wouldn't it be funny if I just dreamed it? No, I remember kitty with ice cream. Maybe I typed it and forgot to hit the Publish button. Definitely possible.

Long day of nothing on this end. The boys slept in the sun and I cleaned and cooked. Same old thing.

I was surprised to go to Drudge and see that Dick Cheney had a heart transplant. I guess some things really can be kept secret. I wish I'd known before so I could have prayed for him, but he'll be in my prayers tonight for sure.

Night everyone. I'll see you tomorrow!
