Good Morning, friends!

  1. Hi to all the Ponders.

Foggy, I know that you have been suffering with your back. I am so sorry for that and I wish there was something I could do to help. I always have prayers. Peanut sends kitty purrrrz.

What kind of treatments do you take? I will gladly send you my iron supplement if that would help. Can you take a couple tbsp molasses a day? Suprisingly it really does help.

I just got done reading an article posted on Lucianne. From Jewish World View by Hanoch Teller, The Man Who Missed The Boat. What a wonderful story. I will be looking for more by that author. JWV is on you links list.

    1. Oh Gloria--you're a gal after my own heart; I just got through reading that story from JWR to 'Woggy before our flood. It was so neat--thank you for thinking of us!

Yes, I can take molasses--my diabetes can certainly tolerate that much--and I like the flavor. I've forgotten; does it have iron in it? I can't take regular iron suplements except for vegetable iron which my body is not absorbing in pill form as it irritates my digestive system--I don't remember molasses ever doing that when I was a kid. We've got a Trader Joes right up the street to get some of the good stuff.

Thank you for your prayers--that really touches me. How are you and the Princess feeling? Kissys for cats!

  2. Morning Ponders! Gonna be a gorgeous day today here in SoCal.

I've checked in on the eaglets every morning. I was watching the other night when the wind wasso strong it blew Mom in a circle. Babies stay safe and warm, though.

I've also been up to my ears in Titanic 100th anniversary programs. I've always had a fascination with the sinking. Joe & I went to see an exhibit of artifacts once. So haunting! I have 2 dvds, A Night to Remember and Titanic (with Clifton Webb & Barbara Stanwyck). They were both done in the '50s and so much better than James Cameron's version. My only problem with those depictions is that they show the ship going down in one piece. Cameron's version is the most accurate as far as details, but he still has some things wrong.

Everyone stay healthy and safe and have a good Monday! Puffin & Bambu send their love. :)

    1. Eva if you are interested in Titanic stories read the one I mentioned. It shows that each of us have a destiny and the affluent can use their wealth to accomplish God's purposes.

    3. WOW, Gloria! That story was wonderful. Thanks so much for mentioning it. Nathan Straus' generosity to Israel is well-known, but I had no idea he was supposed to be on the Titanic. It makes me wonder about all the decisions I've made that may have changed the course of my life. I don't think they've averted any disasters, but I wonder what would have happened if...

    4. Thank you, Eva--smOOch their ears with kissys for me! I'm glad you're watching the older versions of Titanic--they're the best. I still remember the account I read some years ago when I believe the last survivor died. She was just a child--I've forgotten her name--and she said the worst part was when the ship finally was sinking, went dark--and left them in the lifeboats, hearing everyone in the water dying around them, crying for help that they couldn't offer. Like the USS Indianapolis, it was awful. She said she suffered from flashbacks all her life and 'still felt like she was there'.

  3. I'm loving Phoo, Phooey, Phoo and you... lalalalalala ;-) My back is somewhat better today though I can't help 'Woggy mop up the way I'd like to... I hope everyone is lovely--we're nice and sunny for a change.
