Good Morning, Fellow Frogs!

10 comments:

  1. Good morning, Ponders! Sorry I was absent yesterday. No reason, really. I was just super tired. I'm better today. Of course, the furballs loved that I was such a slug yesterday. They slept with me!

Joe told me yesterday that he's going to start telling other people at school who try to talk to him about politics that he won't. He says everyone is just too stupid. I asked if he was going to tell them that was the reason and he said he might. No-one asks me anything in my daily life. Most of my friends are Dems, so they steer clear.

    Welcome home, Paget.
    How are you doing, Phooey?
    Vacation is almost here, 'Wog.
    Froggy, tell Wolfie to behave!
Gloria, I'm going back into my bubble, too.

Surfie, great tirade yesterday. This is my country do or die, but I'm amused at all the states with succession petitions. Did you hear there's also a petition to strip everyone who signs one of those petitions, of their citizenship? One thing I loved about Andrew Breitbart was his energy. You need that level to keep on keeping on. I'm nowhere near it.

  3. Hi Everyone, Hi Froggy...
I'm still at school. Don't know when I'm leaving yet. Maybe around 3:30. Need to buy cat food on way home.

Did you make our colorful cat picture for our Wednesday? Phooey had funny comments about it!

  4. We miss you when you're not here, Eva--same with you all. I see you were waylaid by your boys and co-opted into a nap!

Nothing special here--I have a lot of thoughts about how things turned out though...

'Wogette made me butterscotch pudding for a treat; I am wracked all over by my peripheral neuropathy today--don't know why--burning pain patches all over.

    Phoo, how are you feeling?

  5. I agree with Surfie and y'all; there's no sense in seceeding from the USA. I'm not going to just leave it for these dreadful children and communists! That's just more busywork and distraction from what we need to do. Work close to home--home help, home charity, home activism--and getting through each day well. What we need to do for our country will make itself known while we educate ourselves. I'm not giving up--even if Sissy and I wind up homeless--which is a very real possibility. We have nothing, so nothing can be taken from us, a least. Please. Pray for us.

    1. Always prayers, Froggy, always.

I think we won't know how bad things will be for awhile. I think something very bad and very big will have to happen for people to pay attention. There are newspapers that print things like Benghazi Scandal Doesn't Touch Obama. It doesn't? How can it not? I think what they mean is that they in the media, the Democratic Party, Hollywood, etc. will just do whatever it takes to shelter the President from anything and everything negative.

I understand the people who want to suceed. They feel this isn't their country anymore.

By-the-way, this cat looks like a Kliban cat.

    2. Hi friends. I think that cat looks like a Laurel Birch cat.

You are all so smart and that is why I keep coming here.

Without even trying I am on a fast. I am fasting TV news. Nothing since that fateful night. Of course I have Rush and conservative websites. And I have a cat. Love her. Love you all.

  6. I was a little worried today about yesterday's tirade, hopeing I didn't offend anyone. Sometimes, I just get so worked up I can't contain myself. Honestly, this is the only place I can say what's really on my mind. Thank you Froggy and all my deer Ponders.

The hammer is starting to drop. The owner of our company held a management staff meeting today. Our bread & butter customers are now shutting down percentages of their operations and laying people off. These are HUGE national and global companies. He told them he doesn't want to fire anyone, but their jobs as managers is to get a hold of the slackers in their departments who waste time & materials and have a what-for discussion with them. People who are late all the time, waste time, waste materials by not paying attention will be the first to go, if it comes to that. Hold on to your hats, everyone.

What he didn't tell them is that on 1/1/13 our insurance coverage is going to change. We currently pay 80% of BlueCross/BlueShield and 100% of vision, dental, and a $10,000 life insurance policy. It's going to be a rude awakening, but that's reality. He is still struggling about end-of-year profit sharing bonuses. Don't know if he'll listen to my advice, but I told him all of our employees with a brain would rather keep their jobs than get a bonus check.

On a happy note, one of the girls in the office had lunch with her hubby at Don's Alley, a restaurant that serves old-fashioned down-home food. They bake the best pies! She brought back a piece of pie for all of us in the office. I'm getting ready to make breakfast for dinner then dig into my strawberry & banana pie! It is SO good!

Take care and take heart deer Ponders. Surfie Smooches to all!
