Saturday... A day to Ponder!

  1. My prayers for Israel continue.

I'm having laptop problems. Hope I can get it repaired for not a lot of money.

    Love to my deer Ponders!

    1. Amen to prayers for Israel. For supernatural guidance, protection for God's people and that our God would be glorified in a victory.

  2. Sorry, Surfie--we can't do without you!

This cold has me wiped out; I'll be back...

  3. Surfie, we need ALL our Ponders. I worry when I don't see comments every few days. Froggy and I and Wolfie are hibernating today. It's dreary and rainy today.

  4. Hi pond friends!

I've been really tired this week. Guess it's just adjusting back to the real world. :) I see why Hawaii is SO popular! The warm temperatures over there are so healing and that sunshine is wonderful! :)

Surfie; I read your comment from yesterday. It's great that you get to see your son in December! :) I'm sure that will be a very happy reunion! :)

Gloria, Froggy, and Eva; I was listening to Michael Medved on the radio. He is Jewish and is a great friend to Israel. His brother who lives there was saying, if people would Tweet their support, that would be helpful. I haven't tweeted before, but plan to do just that to show my support. I will continue to pray for Israel too.

Eva and Surfie and Wog, I'm also following the Benghazi debacle and am so curious to learn who told the rescuers to "stand down". Isn't it interesting, that while our men were dying, their "boss" was jetting off to Las Vegas for a fund raiser? The ineptitude of this president is just mind boggling!

Froggy, I'm so sorry you have a cold. :(

Phooey, I followed the link you posted and it was very interesting to read the comments from a black republican. She really got it.

I'm really concerned that the people who voted for Obama have no idea how bad things might get under his "rule". Now he has no reason not to do whatever he can to finish fundamentally transforming this country. I will keep praying for our country, and have faith that God is still in charge.

On a lighter note; I still take much pleasure in the funny little everyday life moments that make me happy. Today I was looking for our pup, Kaiser. Chance ran over to the bed in our guest room and just stood there. Sure enough; Kaiser was hiding under the bed. :) It's funny how the cat often tells on the dog! Gloria, you were asking what food we all feed our cats. When Chance was rescued and was living at PetSmart, he was fed Authority cat food. We tried to change and bought Science Diet, but he hated it. So, now we only buy the Authority brand. :) We also give him two big tablespoons a day of wet food. It is either Friskies salmon shreds, or beef shreds. Those are the only two Friskies flavors he will eat. He is a very finicky feline!

In fact, Chance is in my face right now as I'm typing. It's about his dinner time, so I better get going. I hope you all have a lovely weekend! Get well soon, Froggy!

  5. Hi Paget, Always a treat to read your posts. Looks like you came back to Washington in time for winter! Hawaii must look pretty tempting today.

Love the cat/dog stories. Each have their funny little ways. I don't know why cats are so particular about what they eat. Wolfie is sleeping nearby. He wakes up now and then to remind me that it's his dinner time. I ignored him, but that won't last long. Guess I'll go feed him now.

  6. Well today I had a visit with my brother and SIL. They raise dachshunds and came to Monroe for a dog show. Nice visit. Then my nephew came by with his 2yr old. In the last month I have seen both of my brothers and my nephew 2 times. I don't quite know what to make of it.
