  3. Congratulations, Gloria! How wonderful for you and Scott!

Hello deer Phooey, so nice to see you get things rolling today-love you and blessings to Ms. Page.

Surfie, so glad your son came in last night. He looks so much a man because that's what you and your dear husband raised. He's very proud of you, Surfie--I know he is ;-)

Paget, thank you so much for your advice yesterday. Yes, the pain I have does seem to be a lot in my bones--I think we're going to get the exact supplement you mentioned!

    Eva--we're rooting for UGA tomorrow!

We've got laundry to do and we need to start to pack, of course... kinda slow today. 'Woggy is petting Riff-Raff Wolf.

  4. Happy New Year's Eve deer Ponders!

Congratulations on 43 years!! Wow!! I wish you 43 more!

I'm remembering now that my hubby Ray took glucosamine with chondroitin and it helped him a lot. Also remember that my BIL gave it to his Malamute when she got old and started having trouble getting around. Guess it works on doggies. Hope it works for our Froggie.

Got to leave work early today. It was nice to walk in, and know my "little" boy is sound asleep in bed. Didn't think it could get better than that until a huge bouquet of flowers arrived. They are from Mike's girlfriend. Isn't that sweet? I haven't met her yet, but I like her a lot so far!

Mike's puppy, Zoe, spent the night under the blanket sleeping with me last night. Guess she likes her Grammy. She's half chihuahua and half mini greyhound. Very sweet little thing.

I'm off to make banana bread and chicken & dumplings (one of Mike's favorite childhood foods). Hope to find time today or tomorrow to make stuffed grape leaves. I got the recipe from Robert Spencer (Jihad Watch). It is fantastic!

    See ya'll tomorrow!

  5. Hi again. After checking that report on glucosamine and chondroitin I found this: Aim for 1500mg of glcosamine and 1200mg of chondroitin a day. You may have to work up to that. Three brands tested had lead - Dona, KAL and Whole Foods. Hope that helps.

    1. Thank you so much for checking that out for us! Wow! That sure is better than having to guess.

Whew! We emptied 15 big plastic bins in which I had a lot of old material and stuff and tossed it. I separated some for the Goodwill--I have buttons etc. We left half my stuffed animals in the laundry room for the kids to take.

      Happy New Year, Fellow Frogs!!!

  6. Hello pond friends!

Having a quiet New Year's Eve here, watching the Dick Clark tribute. He sure was a nice guy.

Hubby and I went to the movies today, and saw The Hobbit. It was great; although almost 3 hours long!

Well, I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year! :)

May God bless all you frogs! :)
