  3. We're all back now. Yay! It's cold here in L.A. this morning. I feel as though I'm stillin the east. Even Georgia was seeing morning temps in the high 20's. Of course, it isn't that bad here. Woke up to 41 degrees. Luckily, the cats (Puffin, especially) have decided to forgive us our absence and are back to snuggling. Well, the cold temps are good for something then!

  4. Hi Phooey, labs are a really sweet breed of dog. Our Froggy has been sleeping on and off. Moving has upset our sleep terribly. She'll read the posts when she gets off her lily pad.

Eva, good to have you back. Kittys have to snuggle on a cold day...even if they get in a tiff.

  5. I spent the last two hours doing laundry downstairs. The room was so cold that I had to wear a sweatshirt and keep my hands in the pockets. This place doesn't like to turn up the heat in the halls or front entrance. I work on crossword puzzles or sudoku while I wait with the laundry to finish. Wolfie thought I should feed him (again) the minute I came back to apartment. Silly boy!

  6. I'm here--hi, Phoo! We're watching the playoffs now... We packed all this morning--'Woggy always helps me 'cause of my back.

How's the boys doing, Eva? I see you were partially forgiven--ha! Wolfie nailed me while I was combing him, so we're on the outs; cats sure get in a snit easy!

Yay Texans! Wade worked for our Denver Broncos a long time...

  7. We've been catching up on our laundry today and the minute the buzzer goes off on the dryer, Puffin & Bambu are reading to jump in. I hold them back while Joe pulls the clothes out. As soon as he shuts the dryer door, I let the cats go. They race to the basket. Joe carries the basket, the warm (clean) laundry, and the two burrowing cats into the bedroom. Actually, I should say he staggers into the bedroom. He ends up dumping everything, including the boys, onto the bed. The way I look at it is that I don't have to fold stuff for awhile!

    1. How cute! That's why we love cats. I immediately got a picture of two cats running for the basket of warm clothes, and Joe carrying them into the other room. Cats are so silly, charming, delightful, fun, surpriseful.
