  1. Surfie, who knew your life would be this exciting after you LEFT SoCal? Glad you're safe and out of harm's way... until the next storms.

    1. Hi Eva, We've been worried about Surfie too. How are you and Joe doing? Is it still hot there? Fires and smoke?

Surfie, glad to hear that you are okay. Tornados and earthquakes are way too scary. We've been watching the weather on the news. Some areas were pretty devastated.

  2. Do any of you have friends or family around Zephyrhills, Fl.? Time to make contact soon. That was where the powerball ticket was sold. Just kidding. Hope everyone has a safe and happy week.

    1. We don't know anyone in Zephyrhills. Not even sure where it is. No one has come forward with the winning ticket yet. I'm not worried. In a couple weeks the prize money will be really high again.

    3. Froggy, I'm in New Port Richey, that said, if I had won, all of you gals would never ever have another financial problem.

  4. SURFIE...ARE YOU OKAY????
We are watching the view of tornado coming through OKC right now. KFOR is taking live pictures from a helicopter. We'll be looking for you to write in and say you are okay.

  5. I'm safe. The monster was about 3 miles south of my office. Thank goodness we have an underground storm shelter big enough for all 35 of us. The worst is over for now. I don't even want to turn on the news to see if more are on the way, but I will.

Deer Ponders, please keep everyone here in your prayers. And people in the way of these storms as they march across the country. So much death and destruction. Please pray.

    2. Thank you Surfie for writing in. We were very worried about you. I figured that you were probably at work. You are lucky to have a shelter if you need it.

Froggy is watching on TV, and I am watching close ups of KFOR coverage on the Internet. A couple teachers are heros when they lay across their students and took the brunt of the debris.

    3. Surfie, How about your family and your friend Karen and her family? Are they OK?

  6. Thank goodness!!! I've just now gotten back to the computer and I was in the car and listening to all of the awful coverage. I was so worried about you Surfie!
Prayers are coming non-stop. Stay safe!

  7. Been watching tornado news all afternoon. The OKC news is crushing. So bad. It must be almost dark. Don't know how they will search all night in the dark.

  8. More storms today. It's 5:15 AM and a long line of storms stretching nearly all across the state. Doesn't look as terrible as yesterday. Please keep praying.
