Oh my, the thought of little ones being yanked from their familiar place and put with strangers. I am praying for a hedge of protection to be placed around them.
What a sad, sad situation for Hikergal! I hope she can feel our love and prayers and may they giver her the strength she's going to need. I would think that being with a family member they know, even if she is not living close by, is better than living with strangers.
Summer has been here for a while. Hovering around 100 all week. I'll take it any day over temps below freezing, 20 mph winds and roads freezing. I'm actually enjoying having 4 very distinct seasons.
Hi Surfie, You "snuck" in just ahead of me. Froggy always liked the different seasons. I can be happy just living by any California beach with a lot of sunshine days. I don't need winter.
I'm so looking forward to having 4 seasons again. People think Georgia must be warm all the time because it's in the south, but not in the northeast area where I lived. Fall is my favorite season. There's nothing like the change of leaf colors and that special smell in the air as the temps start to drop. Mmmmmm.
