Today is supposed to be the hottest day of the week in SoCal. Maybe they'll be right for once, but I doubt it. I know it's going to be very hot ALL week. Joe went to the beach. I chose to stay inside with the A/C. The cats are sound asleep.
Hi Eva, If today is your hottest day, you have "cool" days to look forward to! HA.... We can't complain in Seattle, but we are sweating. Wearing shorts. Fans on. Cat melted to the floor. Nothing exciting going on here.
Hot here, too. Will be around 100 probably until late August. Summer!

I'm going to my brother's FIL's funeral on Thursday. Giving my clothes and jewelry a test run tonight, touching up my mani-pedi. Think I already told you that Paul was a decorated WWII bomber pilot. An uneducated, poor kid from nowhere in Kansas wound up flying 30 missions in the 8th Air Force. D-Day, bombing of Berlin, bombing Hamburg oil refineries.
He passed a week ago, but the Air Force needed time to get their ceremony for him together. It will probably make me cry even more than I would already be crying.
Phooey ... we'll be watching that hurricane. You and Miss Paige keep safe.
Hi all, been sitting in front of fans all day. It should be getting a little cooler now that the sun is down. I wondered, too, what beach Joe went to. here are so many.
Hi Phooey, I planted a few snapdragons for Froggy in our patio garden. They are blooming like crazy - yellow and deep pink. I water in the evenings about 6-7 pm. Can't do it in the morning. By the time I get up, the sun is already heating up the day.
