Good morning, friends!

  1. What gorgeous flowers! Almost makes Puffin's meow scream in my ear this morning worth getting out of bed for. All that little rat-fink cat wanted was to get me out of bed so he could go back in and cuddle with my husband. Now I have to go get BOTH of them up. I'm always the bad guy.

  2. Good morning frog friends!

Eva, Puffin is such a little character! Aren't our 4-legged kids demanding? This morning I woke up for a few minutes at 4:30. Hubby heard me and mumbled something and the next thing I knew, the dog was running around the room doing his 'get up and feed me' act, and the cat was on the other side of the bedroom door meowing that he was hungry too! So, I got up and fed them and went back to bed. I'm so glad its the weekend and I can sleep in! :)

'Wog, I'm also very happy to hear about your grant! That is very good news!

Well, Froggy and everyone; have a great day! I'm off to buy birthday presents for my boy who will be 34 tomorrow! When did he get so old? ;)

    Catch you later! :)

  3. Mornin' all.

New Ulsterman Report. Wall Street Insider. Very touching. The wall Street insider reveals some things about his background. Remembering this is Purim, I was moved.

  4. Eva, you're so funny! I used to call my Daddy Munk cat a rat fat fink! LOL! Baby Boris used to be sneaky and get 'Woggy up so he could run over and lay in her warm spot on the bed! When we had our 'Nado, too, I'd find her on the bare edge of nothing and the 3 cats in the middle of the bed. I'd have to come in and flush that whole mess out of there, so she could get some proper sleep! How's the weather in L.A.?

Paget, how's the weather on the other side? We're socked in gray and rainy... How lovely to buy birthday gifts! You'll have to tell us what you got him ;-)

My back is a little better, but I was diagnosed with spondylethesis and there's not much they can do about that. I'll just add it to the list. Phooey, is this what Ms. Page has? I sure hope they'll come up with something for it or I'm gonna have to see another doctor--and Medicaid won't like that.

I hope everyone has a lovely day--we're just going to relax. I'm reading the book William Murray wrote about his mother Madalyn Murray O'Hair and it's just fascinating. My brother is an atheist and he met the man--John Waters?--that murdered her. He was quite shocked by her death.

Her 'Wogness is still in her jammies...;-) Hi Gloria! I read Ulsterman--thanks for letting us know he had something new up!

  5. Hi everybody. First off, I feel terrible for my friends here who have health problems. I pray for each and every one of you, every day.

Froggy, I spewed my tea onto the key board when I read "rat fink." Girl, we are old! Wasn't it Phyllis Diller who called her husband rat fink? Still laughing.

Paget, your son and mine have the same birthday (I think), although not the same year. Mine was born 3/11/1990. Happy birthday to your son!

    Love to all.

  6. March is a good month for birthdays. Mine was on Thursday (3/8/49.) Peanut turns 2 today. My grandaughter turns 8 on March 25.
You are showing your age with "rat fink." I had forgotten about that one. We can get pretty silly around here using old expressions and being sarcastic with each other. I laugh at us and what we have turned into.

  7. Rat fink is a term of endearment but it is usually said as "you dirty rotten rat fink" it is higher on the scale than rat-faced monkey monster or seaweed spewing skunk pot. I know, I know, but my kids were a handful.
Yep March is a great month. My KM,Mom, Dad and I all celebrate this month.
Funny thing about Mom and Dad. All my life I thought they shared the same birthday the 28th, but 2 years apart. We were sitting in the funeral directors office this OCT going over the stuff and the guy asks now when was her birthday?3 of my sisters , one of brothers and I responded the 28th the other sister that was sitting there says ""uuhh do you want what she always said or what her BC and SS say?" Her Birthday was the 27th!!! she just said the 28th either so Da would remember or so nobody would make a big deal over just her . I lean to no big fuss as Da adored her and was always remembering special days for her. so for my entire life I never new my Mom's real birthday!! It just makes me smile so huge to think of it.
Congrats Wog on the grant .Hope every one gets to feeling better.

  8. Let's hear it for the March babies!! I turn 57 on Monday. Yikes!

The whole 'rat fink' name calling is funny, now that I think of it. I haven't used it in years, probably because my sister and I don't get into those fights anymore where one of us tattled on the other. I'm actually nostalgic for those fights now. They were so silly. Now we have grown-up fights that result in no talking at all for months at a time. Sad.

The weather here is lovely. Around 80 and sunny, but it's supposed to change tomorrow. We'll see.

I'll go check out Ulsterman now.

  11. Froggy, so sorry your back is giving you so much trouble. :( I had to look up spondylethesis, as I had never heard of it before. I'll keep you in my prayers!

I'm amazed to see so many March frog pond birthdays! :) Yes, happy birthday to Gloria and Eva,and Hiker gal, and Surfie's son Mike!

Yes, Surfie, my son was also born on 3/11, however in 1978. :)

Gloria, you are just a few days older than my hubby who was born on 3/25/49 :) In addition to your grandaughter, my niece is also born on 3/25! However, my niece will be 21 this year. We always have joint family birthday parties for my hubby and niece. All I can say is that June is a very romantic month! ;)

    Good night pond friends! :D
