Good Night, good friends!

  1. Trying to digest a nice steak dinner before I hit the sack. Phooey's point is well taken (about how Valentine's Day is really for Hallmark). Rush says that, too. I still like the flowers I get, though.

Sleep well, Ponders! See you in the morning.

  2. Well, I somehow managed to delete all my saved favorites and couldn't Google my way back to the Pond yesterday. Thank you to Eva for emailing the link to me!

Didn't have the best day yesterday. The woman who lives above me has a big dog that she locks onto her balcony. She doesn't walk it, so it pees over the side of the balcony onto my patio. If that weren't enough, it was below freezing during the night, with freezing rain and the poor thing was trapped outside. It howled and cried and jumped into her patio door from 4:30 in the morning until 9:00 in the morning when the apartment manager and doggy humane services finally showed up. They didn't take the dog away from her. Don't know what they said to her, but it was not trapped outside last night.

To make matters worse, there was a break in the water line so I didn't have any water until about 5:00 last night.

Today can't help but be a better day!

Hope everyone has a good day today. Especially Froggy and Wog. Sounds like you two girls have a lot on your hands. Prayers and smooches your way.

    Take care, everybody!

    1. Yikes, Surfie! Not much of a Valentine's Day, was it? I especially hated to hear about that poor dog. People like that neighbor of your should NEVER be allowed to have pets!

As Froggy said, hope today is much better!

  3. Oh my, you have your hands full, Surfie! It's always something, isn't it? I'm so sorry--hope you get some water and can do something about the dog. (IMHO, I'd start writing all this down in a small diary so, if you ever have to write management, you have a complete time/incident line. In other words, don't think it won't happen again or it's solved. Keep track of every real issue you have with neighbors, just in case.)

You beat me to the morning--I posted breakfast for all those w/o water up top LOL1

    Have a better day, dear!

    1. The boys got me a lovely bouquet of flowers and a card. They were sweet enough to include Boomer's name on it, too. Now if only Puffin had been nice enough to allow me to sleep through the night without meowing in my ear from 4am on, it would have been perfect.
