Have a blessed Sunday, Ponders!

  1. Good morning everyone! Even though I don't like winter, I am looking forward to the snow we're predicted to get tonight and tomorrow. Haven't seen a snowfall since I moved to SoCal in the early 80's.

I'm watching TV, making a big pot of chicken soup, getting things done in my new apartment I haven't had time to do yet, and will probably watch the Grammys tonight.

    RIP, Whitney Houston.

  2. Good morning, ladies. It's 38 and very windy this morning. Brrrr!

  3. You sound warm and cozy, Surfie! The only thing I disliked about San Diego was no seasons! Christmas in gelatinous sunshine was miserable! Now, we don't have to worry about that! Glad you're getting settled in!

Poor Whitney... I saw her pics from the night before and she looked so awful--like she was using again. 48 is too young.

'Woggy's here and she made me toast (I made her--she makes the best toast) Actually, it was because I missed her... ;-) We're already talking a mile a minute about that Idiot-in-Chief and his new mandate about birth control etc. Wow.

    Love you!

  5. Good morning pond friends! We woke up to a beautiful day over here in the banana belt of Washington state. :) Yep, that's how the tourist industry advertises eastern WA. ;)

Surfie, I hope you enjoy the snow. I like to watch snow fall, but I sure hate to drive in it! I'm hoping we only have rain for the rest of our winter.

Did anyone read the article today on Lucianne.com, http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/02/whom_the_gods_would_destroy.html by J.R. Dunn? Wow, what a read! I sure hope his predictions come true! I don't know; the left is a strange breed, and Obama keeps over-reaching and never slows down. I sure hope God saves us from four more years of Obama in charge!

Well, I'm off to do chores. Has anyone heard from Gloria lately? I hope she is doing well too, and is just too busy to post. :)

Take care friends! I wish you all a lovely day! :)

  6. I'm not sure what happened to my sentence above, but I didn't purposely space my words so far apart! :( It must be computer magic. Weird...

    3. HaHa Phooey, you are a riot! I had to read your comment twice to get the point, so I guess I am spacey! (or slow...Oops! I shouldn't say that and give you ammunition!) ;)

  7. Gosh. Where have I been all morning? So many posts, and no WOG hops.

Surfie, glad you are happy about snow. I got tired of shoveling sidewalks, and having my car door frozen shut.

Phooey, Froggy laughed when your post beat hers to the Pond. Very funny.

Paget, you said a lot.."the left is a strange breed." Froggy's been reading articles to me about O and his abortion policies, and how he is going up against the Catholic Church. I think, finally, he has "shot himself in the foot." Anything that he does that will lose him votes is okay with me.

I am watching a show on the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle. Even today these are still very strange stories.

  8. Paget, are you sitting ?.... waiting.... Okay, ready or not. Last night was using my daughter's computer trying to connect to Frogfeet. I forgot it was Frogfeet2012. What I found were my posts on 'The Connection' recorded by Google. According to Google my first post had one commenter..... YOU! I'm lovin' it!!!

    1. That's funny, Phoo. :) The last time I posted on Theconnection was in November? I've looked back at the Klatch a couple times since then and realized that I don't miss it at all - It just seems like the Yotty and Nu Revue. Nothing against them, it just is boring to me. :) But, I know lots of people like it so more power to them. As for me, I love it here at the Pond with Froggy, and Wog and all of the rest of you dear pond people. :)

  10. What a bunch of different posts today!

Husband & I just got back from an errand in Hollywood. I was apprehensive about going down there today. Traffic is always a mess, but with the Grammy's tonight and Whitney Houston's death, I thought it would be more annoying than usual. We decided to chance it anyway. What a zoo! At one point, we were stuck in a line of not moving cars when 6 police cars with sirens wailing and lights flashing, went whizzing by. We moved a couple of inches and then 2 firetrucks (lights flashing, sirens wailing) went in the other direction. Before we could move any further, two police trucks (sirens wailing, lights flashing) with the words, "BOMB SQUAD" went screaming by. We looked at each other and said, "Well this can't be good." So when we got to a cross street, we turned and came home. Still don't know what the problem was.

It was cooler here today. Around 60 degrees. Rain may be coming. Enjoy your snowfall, Surfie!

I'm running out of words to describe Obama's radical policies. We have to get him out of office. I don't care who our nominee is.

  11. Eva! You and your hubby were brave to be out in Hollywood today! I too am saddened about Whitney Houston. :( I loved her voice, and it is so sad that (it appears that) her choices in life brought about her demise. My two favorite songs of hers were "I will always love you", and her rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner".

  12. Briefly, looked on 'The Klatch' and found Hikergal; told her we love her. Now, going to do the same with you.... I love you, all. Goodnight. Sweet dreams.

  13. CAN I SNEAK IN HERE? GEEZ! LOL--You folks are funny and fun today!

Eva, I know what you mean about traffic; everytime we go to Tacoma, there's always a 3-4 car wreck and about 8 police cars etc. that stops traffic for about a half hour-hour no matter which direction we're going. I always feel bad for the people, though the wrecks aren't usually bad ones. We live very close to Harborview Hospital--the main city hosp. here--and I always pray everytime a helicopter goes over; there's no other reason for 'copters to be over here if they're not Flight For Life.

Phooey, just bookmark me and you can find frogfeet everywhere! Ha!

Where is our Gloria? I'm getting worried. Did she say she had a trip or something? I love having all you guys over here!

    Goodnight, PhooGood! SMOOCH!

    I'm sorry about Whitney...
