  1. OOOOO, 'Woggy was actually up before I was; usually I'm sitting here and telling her to go back to bed! I'm eating popcorn for breakfast (it's Saturday) and it's cold and windy here!

This is the second day I've stopped doing my exercises I was doing and my back and stomach sure feel better--thank God!

    How is everyone? Hi Paget!

  2. Morning, all! Froggy, I usually have to go longer than a week without exercising to feel guilty ;-)

It's cool and sunny here in L.A. this morning (around 40 degrees!) Going up to 70 today, though.

I'm eating pistachios and drinking grapefruit juice. Strange breakfast.

Puffin was racing around like a maniac earlier. Now he's on the window perch, sound asleep. Bambu is trying to avoid him. I had to intervene yesterday when poor Bambu was taking a nap and Puffin jumped on him, chased him downstairs, and all over the house by nipping at his back legs. He made a final flying leap tackle and took Bambu down before I separated them. Puffin needs to respect his brother's naptime.

Joe is off to instruct his tae kwon do students and I'm trying to come up with an idea for supper tonight. Then I have to get dressed and go grocery shopping. There may be a reason that I'm not the hardbody I used to be! lol

    I'll be back later.

  3. Eva! I love cat stories. We had our big orange daddy munk cat nail our dog we had when 'Woggy came back from school. My goodness, the cat's eyes would go coal black and then he'd pounce. The poor dog hadn't done a thing to him and he started walking sideways around the cat to give him a wide berth! I loved it when our kittens were little and would play; our baby orange munk cat would try and 'halloween' but he'd fall over everytime he'd get his back up. I love cats!

I had to kick 'Her Wogness' out of here for awhile. She'd woke up and started complaining about all she had to do--she'd broken it down into 4-5 trips on the bus... Well, 'Woggy doesn't know she's 71 and can't do all that back and forth. She'd do one thing, collapse in a nap, and then start crying because she felt guilty she hadn't done more! (And I don't want her to get too tired.)

I broke it down into TWO trips--one today and one tomorrow--and she fussed about the buses on Sunday. So I said go on Monday then, I don't care--and she started to pitch one about Monday being too late--we'd run out of stuff. I said then make two trips today--and she said she'd get too tired... I told her a trip today and one tomorrow and she said she didn't want to.... I said OUT and slapped the ol' EZPASS into her hand. ('Woggy gets cabin fever if she doesn't go out everyday and she then she starts snatting like this. The only cure is to kick her out into the fresh air for awhile so she can eat stuff off the sample trays at the local market and get her some Chinese.)

She came back with pepper beef and won ton soup, egg roll, and pork chop suey. Now she's happy. I'm still eating popcorn ;-)

  4. Yes, Froggy is telling the truth! I was WogBad! Froggy is a sweet sister to put up with my cranky-side.

I did get out on a bus ride. Actually I missed the bus by the house by one minute, and had to walk a short cut to downtown. Caught the bus coming back up the hill on another street.

And the Chinese food was tasty.

Some really good cat stories today. I had to look at the Puffin-Bambu Review to see who was running where. What great fun it is to have two kitties who play and chase and leap.

Our big orange cat who would attack the dog sometimes, got me once. I was laying on the floor. Daddy Munk's eyes went coal-black, and I was an easy target.

That dog was such a good little guy, like Odie in the cartoons. He never bothered the cats.

  5. Hello friends!

    I love Eva's cat stories too. :)

Froggy and Wog's adventures in Seattle are also interesting to me, as I grew up in south Seattle, and still have family and friends over there. Do you live close to the Pike Street fish market? I'm sure there is wonderful Chinese food over there too. If I remember correctly, Seattle has an excellent bus system, and I remember that it was free at certain times, maybe that was just the weekends? However, Wog, do take it easy, we don't want you to overdo it!

Wog, I pray that you and Froggy get your paperwork turned in and approved so you will have all the benefits you deserve. My hubby might be layed off in March, so that is another reason I was glad to get my new job. These are uncertain times, so we all need to keep the faith. :)

I heard on the news that the south is getting horrible weather! Batten down the hatches, Phooey and Hikergal!

Surfie, hope you are safe there in OK!

    Good night all! :)

  6. Heading to bed now. Bambu has been asleep for an hour and Puffin is screaming his head off! Sleepy or not here I go.
